Charles Lonnie Hensley was born January 9, 1949 at Summersville,
Missouri and passed away July 21, 2010 at Salem, Missouri at the age of
sixty-one years.
Charles was employed at the Canoak USA Inc. at Salem. He was an
excellent carpenter, enjoyed wildlife, gardening, hunting, fishing. He was a
very doting father. He served in the United States Navy.
Charles Hensley is survived by his sweetheart, Una Youtsey of Salem,
Missouri; mother, Letha Witte of St. James, Missouri; two daughters,
Samantha Alcorn and husband, Toby of Mountain Grove, Missouri and Dixie
McCollum and husband, Marty of Mountain Grove, Missouri; five
grandchildren: Austin and Duncan Alcorn and Bradley, Kaydance and
Gabrielle McCollum.
Graveside service for Charles L. Hensley was July 24, 2010 at the
Wofford Cemetery with Military Honors. Eulogies were by family members.
Selected recorded music was played and a vocal solo was by Lisa Wulff.
Serving as pallbearers were: Kevin Sizemore, Marty McCollum, Toby Alcorn,
Cheryl Weber, Eddie Artrip, and Scott Weber. Interment was in the Wofford
Cemetery under direction of Wilson Mortuary.
