Donald Chandler 1945 ~ 2010

Donald Chandler was born June 6, 1945 at Bixby, Mo. and passed away
July 15, 2010 at Potosi, Mo. at the age of 65 years. He was the son of Lula
Faye (Wisdom) Chandler and the late Howard Chandler.
On July 2, 1965, Donald was united in marriage to Catherine Elaine Barton
and to this marriage four sons were born.
He was baptized in the early 60’s at Dillard. He enjoyed being with his
sons and grandchildren, riding horses, playing music, farming, and hunting.
He liked to make knives and fiddles.
Preceding him in death were his father, Howard Chandler; one son,
Christopher Allen Chandler; one granddaughter, Jenna Lynn Chandler; one
brother, Harold Chandler; one sister, Doris Dunlap; an infant nephew, Seth.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Chandler of Belleview, Missouri; mother,
Faye Chandler of Viburnum, Missouri; three sons, Danny Chandler and wife,
Jennifer of Davisville, Missouri, Jeffrey Chandler and wife, Elizabeth of
Viburnum, Missouri and Allen Chandler and wife, Christy of Belleview,
Missouri; six brothers: Ronnie Chandler and wife, Lynn of Belleview,
Missouri, Larry Chandler and wife, Joyce of Belleview, Missouri, Garry
Chandler and wife, Sheila of Black, Missouri, Stanley Chandler and wife,
Elaine of Viburnum, Missouri, Terry Chandler of Salem, Missouri and Timmy
Chandler of Viburnum, Missouri; three sisters, Betty Pryor and husband,
Darrell of Viburnum, Missouri, Kathy Bellinger and husand, Leroy of
Bradenton, Florida and Sharon Hedrick and husband, Jess of Steelville,
Missouri; two brothers-in-law, Edward Dunlap of Boss, Missouri and Stanley
Ray Barton and wife, Joni of Boss, Missouri; seven grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service for Donald Chandler was July 18, 2010 in the Wilson
Mortuary (Viburnum) Chapel with Elder Garry Mathes officiating. Music was
by the Chandler Family. Serving as pallbearers were: Danny, Jeff, Allen,
Trent, Colby, and Cole Chandler, Branson Dunlap, and Scott Chandler.
Interment was in the Upper Indian Creek Cemetery.
