Brittany Kay Gorman

Brittany Kay Gorman was born September 15, 1990 in Houston, Missouri to Ricky “Tiny” and Missy and passed away May 30, 2020 in Texas County, Missouri at the age of twenty-nine years. Brittany grew up in Timber, Missouri and graduated with the Class of 2010 from Eminence High School. She went to further her education at Southwestern Baptist University. Brittany was saved at Shannondale Church and baptized in the Sinkin’ Creek River. Brittany was a stay at home mom who truly enjoyed raising her three children: Annemarie, Mary, and Thomas; they meant the world to her. She was full of life with an outgoing personality. She enjoyed listening to music, drawing, coloring, and doing her makeup. Brittany cherished the time spent with her family and looked forward to family outings. Her most memorable moments were boating and tubing on the lake. Brittany is survived by her loving parents: Ricky "Tiny" Gorman of Timber, MO and Missy Smotherman and husband Rolland of Birch Tree, MO; children: Annemarie, Mary, and Thomas of the home; siblings: Ty Smotherman of Birch Tree, MO, Leah Anderson of St. Robert, MO, Clint Smotherman of Summersville, MO, Niki Enloe and husband Brad of Timber, MO, Megan Gorman of Reeds Spring, MO; Lauren Parker of Ft. Carson, CO, Taylor Gorman of Timber, MO, Kimberly Pruitt of Eureka, MO, Lillietta Gorman of Timber, MO, and James Reese of Jadwin, MO; grandparents: Max and Trudy Gorman of Timber, MO and Willard and Ann Terrill of Summersville, MO; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Brittany will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her beautiful smile will never be forgotten. Funeral Services for Brittany Kay Gorman were held Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the Shannondale Community Church with Pastor Jeff Fulk officiating. Song selections played were “My Sister”, “Never Be Forgotten”, “I Hope You Dance”, and Memories. Serving as Pallbearers were Bradley Enloe, Eathan Piatt, James Reese, Jonathan Piatt, Jacob Piatt, and Michael Terrill. Honorary Pallbearers were Chantel Jordan, Ty Smotherman, April Stoops, Kathy Spense, Amanda Jorden, George Terrill, Gene Roberts, Millard Street, Clint Smotherman, Devon Kaut, and Zach Slaton. Burial was in the Patterson Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
