Jeff Dean Whitaker

Jeffery “Jeff” Dean Whitaker was born October 23, 1967, in Rolla, Missouri to James and Beverly (Terrill) Whitaker. He grew up in Salem and graduated from Salem High School with the class of 1986. Jeff was united in marriage to his sweetheart, Pamela Gail Conway, October 7, 1995 and together blessed with twenty-six years of laughter and memories. Jeff and Pam were blessed to share six children: Kari, Dylan, Cody, Caitlyn, Sara, and Samantha. Jeff was a devoted husband and dedicated father who worked hard to provide for his family. He took his first job at Mooney Auto Supply before working for L.N. Coffman. After twenty-two years, Jeff decided to work as the office manager with the family business, Whitaker Auto Body and Towing. He truly liked working with computers and was good at what he did. Jeff was an avid Miami Dolphins Fan and enjoyed playing basketball in his spare time. He was very passionate about traveling and loved the mountains. Jeff and Pam enjoyed camping and planned several trips a year, one of their favorite spots was the Lake of the Ozarks. He lived life to the fullest and treasured making memories with his family. His grandchildren meant the world to him and his love for them was larger than life. Jeff departed this life January 30, 2022 in Rolla, Missouri at the age of fifty-four years. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife Pam Whitaker of Salem, MO; children: Kari Johns and fiancé Billy Williams of Salem, MO, Dylan Burke and Angel Lowe of Washington, MO, Cody Whitaker of Salem, MO, and Caitlyn Whitaker and fiancé Steven Taylor of Salem, MO; stepdaughter: Samantha Radford and husband Kenneth of Salem, MO; parents: James and Beverly Whitaker of Salem, MO; brother: Jimmy Whitaker of Salem, MO; sister: Regina Yates and husband Danny of Salem, MO; grandchildren: Brayden, Mackenzie, Zach, Rowdy, Wylder, Aleigha, Sawyer, and Nolan; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding him in death, stepdaughter: Sara Conway and grandparents: Lawrence and Lovie Terrill, John Dee Whitaker, and Thelma Welchel. Jeff had a contagious smile and a great sense of humor. He will be remembered for the love he shared for his family and friends. Jeff will be forever missed but never forgotten. Funeral Services for Jeffery “Jeff” Dean Whitaker were held Saturday, February 5, 2022 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating. Song selections played were “Peace Be Still”, “Scars In Heaven”, “Jealous of the Angels”, “When I’m Gone”, “Amazing Grace”, and “I Can Only Imagine”. Serving as Pallbearers were Brian Ellerman, Kenneth Radford, Rob Ellerman, Danny Yates, Tyler Yates, and Steven Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers were Brayden Radford and Billy Williams.
