Linda Sue (Brown) Holubeck

Linda Sue (Brown) Holubeck was born on October 15, 1951, in St. Louis, Missouri to Frank and Margie (Alexander) Brown and passed away on October 16, 2020, in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of sixty-nine years. Linda grew up in Valley Park, Missouri and attended Valley Park School. On November 3, 1990, she married the love of her life, Herbert Holubeck, and shared many wonderful memories before his passing. Linda and Herbert were blessed to share four children: Kathy, Kenny, John, and Kathy. Linda was a homemaker and took great pride in providing a loving home for her family. She was a devoted wife and dedicated mother. Linda became a loving grandmother and caring aunt to her nieces and nephews. Linda was very family-oriented and enjoyed making memories with her family, especially with her sisters, known as “The Golden Girls”. She cherished her grandchildren and spoiled them with candy. Linda was a member of the Dent County House of Prayer and attended faithfully when she could. She was one of a kind, with a kind heart who was always thinking of others above herself. There was nothing she loved more than sitting on the porch enjoying the weather with family and friends. Linda is survived by her loving children: Kathy Gordon of Lockwood, MT, Kenny Depriest of Casper, WY, John "John Boy" Young of Salem, MO, and Kathy Collins of Salem, MO; sister: Alice Schwartz of Salem, MO; as well as many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her, loving husband: Herbert Holubeck; parents: Frank and Margie Brown; sisters: Francis Miller, Virginia Stewart, Joan Reece, Patsy Miller, and Nancy Curtis; brother: Leroy Brown. Linda was a sweet lady, beautiful inside and out, she will forever be remembered and dearly missed. Celebration of Life for Linda Sue (Brown) Holubeck was held Saturday, October 24, 2020 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Charlie Younger and Pastor Linda Skaggs officiating. Special Music was provided by Angie Harrison singing “Amazing Grace”, and additional song selections played were “My Angel Mother” and “Dancing in the Sky”. Honorary Pallbearers were Robert Young, Donald Curtis, Jordan Humble, Austin Earley, Sharon Piatt, and Mark Paulson. The Family was served by Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
