Phillip Eugene Tinker

Phillip Eugene Tinker was born June 24, 1976 in Sullivan, Missouri to Willard Eugene Tinker and Aleta Jean (Hassos) Dyer and passed away February 17, 2019, in Boss, Missouri at the age of forty-two years. Phillip grew up in the Boss, Missouri area and attended Viburnum School. He was happy go lucky and never met a stranger. Anywhere he went you knew he was there. He made friends with everyone he met and was known as "Phatt Daddy" to all who knew him. Phillip loved camping, fishing, hunting, and playing pool. He also enjoyed cooking and barbecuing. Phillip worked at Doe Run when he was younger and in the woods with his step dad, Delbert Dyer. More recently he worked at Dunlap Sawmill for Branson Dunlap and took great pride in his job. Phillip dearly loved his kids and family. Preceding him in death were his father, Willard Eugene Tinker; brother, Dennis Dyer and infant sister, Mary Ann Tinker. Survivors include his mother, Aleta Dyer of Boss, MO; children, Timmy Tinker of Stover, MO, Katrina Tinker of Salisbury, MO, Phylicia Tinker and fiancé, Neal Burns of Salem, MO, Daniel Tinker of Salisbury, MO; grandchild, Daemon Scott Burns, and one grandchild on the way; brothers and sister, James Tinker and wife, Connie of Steelville, MO, Carren Dotson and husband, Boone of Bixby, MO, Delbert "Punkin" Dyer, Jr. and wife, Nancy of Boss, MO, Moses Sterling and wife, Erica of Bonne Terre, MO, nieces and nephews, Joe Chambers, David Chambers, Jake Chambers, Brittany Chambers, Amanda Tinker, Brandon Clark, Brooklyn Dyer, Molly Dyer, Dylan Dyer, Carmen Hopkins; two great nieces, Autumn Clark and Allison Burnett; extended family and friends. Phillip will be sadly and deeply missed, but fondly remembered by all those who knew and loved him. Funeral Service for Phillip Eugene Tinker was held February 24, 2019 at the Boss Assembly of God Church with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Special Music played was: "Will the Circle be Unbroken", "Wish You Were Here", "Go Rest High" and "Amazing Grace". Serving as Pallbearers were Joe Martin, Timmy Tinker, Daniel Tinker, James Tinker, Neal Burns and Bruce Copeland. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers were Bob McKie, Branson Dunlap, Brandon Clark and David Chambers. Burial was in the Maple Grove Cemetery. All arrangements were under the care and direction of Wilson Mortuary of Viburnum, Missouri.
