Ruby Lorene (Aldridge) Earp

Ruby Lorene (Aldridge) Earp was born on June 23, 1938 in Tyrone, Missouri to Gregory and Lillie (Collins) Aldridge and passed away October 13, 2019, in Salem, Missouri at the age of eighty-one years. Ruby grew up and attended school in Tyrone, Missouri. As a young girl, Ruby accepted Christ and followed in baptism. She was of the Baptist faith. On June 29, 1954 Ruby was united in marriage to Ervin Leon Earp and the two were blessed with four children: Jan, Terry, Steve and Jill. Ruby was a homemaker and took great pride in caring for her family. She was an awesome cook and kept her house immaculate. Ruby enjoyed being outside tending her flowers and plants. She loved to travel and take pictures and then put together a scrapbook of her adventure. Some of her favorite places were the beach and the mountains. Ruby had a passion for reading, singing and playing music with her brother Speed and Friends. Although a woman of many talents and a wide variety of interests, Ruby's primary focus was always family. She loved her puppy dogs "Maggie" and "Gretchen" and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. Ruby is survived by her four children: Jan Moise and husband Mike of Hartville, MO, Terry Tripp and husband Duane of Sioux City, IA, Steve Earp and wife Kathy of Success, MO and Jill Piatt and husband Rich of Salem, MO; one sister: Dessie Dunigan of Riverside, CA; three grandsons: Jason Moise and wife Regina, Matthew Tripp and Bradley Tripp; two granddaughters: Bailey Earp and Jenna Piatt; two step-grandchildren: Branden Piatt and wife Sarah and Breana Piatt; three great-grandchildren: Morgan Moise, Mikalah Moise and Blaire Bowlin; several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ervin Leon Earp; parents: Gregory and Lillie Aldridge; brothers: Delbert and Denver; sisters: Della, Lil and Lucille. Ruby was a loving and kind person and will be remembered for the love she had for her family and friends. Memorial Service for Ruby Lorene (Aldridge) Earp was held Friday, October 18, 2019 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Jan Moise shared the Eulogy. Song Selections played were "Amazing Grace" and "The Rose" All arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
