Ryan Andrew Martin Jr. was born on March 25, 2014 in Rolla, Missouri to proud parents Ryan Sr. and Juanita. Ryan spent his childhood in Salem and was a Kindergartener at William Lynch Elementary School. He was a bright, passionate, creative young man who brought much love and joy into the world. Ryan’s favorite subject was Social Studies. Ryan was witty and always had a good joke to tell. He loved loud noises and playing with his cars, trucks, and monster trucks. Watching cartoons and swimming were some of his favorite activities. Ryan enjoyed the outdoors and being in the woods; he liked to go fishing and hunting with his grandfather. He loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them, especially with his grandparents. Ryan entered the arms of Jesus on November 22, 2020. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother: Juanita Martin of Salem, MO; father: Ryan Martin Sr. and wife Andrea of Cherryville, MO; siblings: Shyann Mccullah, MaryBeth Mccullah, Jonathon Owen Chandler, Desiree Martin, and Jordan Martin; grandparents: James Martin Jr. and wife Leslie of Cherryville, MO, Carol Shanor of Salem, MO, Ernie Pyatt and Deborah West of Salem, MO, and Frank Jenkins and wife Roni of Salem, MO; great-grandmothers: Mary Martin and Bonnie Pyatt; aunts and uncles: Joe Martin and wife Chris, Josh Martin and wife Renee, Timmy Martin and wife Rachel, Danny Martin and wife Stephanie, Stacy Shanor, Elizabeth Gipson and husband David, and Trisha Champion and husband Conner; as well as several cousins, other relatives, and friends. Preceding him in death, grandfather: Herbert Shanor; great-grandparents: Clarence and Joan Callahan, Jim “Frog” Martin Sr.; Charles Pyatt and Eric Pyatt. Though he didn’t live many years on earth, Ryan touched the lives of so many who knew him. He will be forever missed. Funeral Services for Ryan Andrew Martin Jr. were held Monday, November 30, 2020 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Larry Martin officiating. Special Music was provided by Bob Coleman singing “Fire In The Bones” and “Go Rest High On That Mountain” with additional song selections “Something’s Going On In The Graveyard” and “Dancing In The Sky”. Serving as Pallbearers were Ryan “Andy” Martin, Zach “Danny” Martin, Timmy Martin, Frank Jenkins, Shawn Williams, Austin Reed, Josh Martin, and Kamryn Simpson. Honorary Pallbearers were Shyann, MaryBeth, Jonathon, Desiree, and Jordan. Burial was in the Martin Cemetery Cherryville, Missouri. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri. Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Ryan Andrew Martin Jr. for funeral expenses and left at Wilson Mortuary.
