Angela Renee (Reeves) Petro

Angela Renee (Reeves) Petro was born on December 22, 1989, in Perryville, Missouri, to Noel and Willa (Barrett) Reeves. She departed this life on October 21, 2024, in Salem, Missouri, at the age of thirty-four years. Angela graduated from Viburnum High School. Throughout the years, she worked a variety of jobs to include being a prep cook at Frisco’s Grill and Pub, a cashier at Caseys, and a caregiver with DCAI. She started her own cleaning business, Angie’s Cleaning Service, in 2019 as a second job on the weekends. After a long battle of addiction, Angela turned her life around and furthered her education with Southwest Baptist University receiving her bachelor’s degree of Science in Psychology and Social Work. In December 2022, Angela started her dream job working with Southeast Missouri Behavioral Health Salem Center as substance abuse counselor. She had a great passion to help substance abusers recover from addiction. Angela was united in marriage, to her sweetheart, Dennis Petro on December 11, 2022. Together they created a life filled with love and lasting memories. To this union, Angela gained three wonderful sons: Tanner, Tristan, and Dallas. Angela accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior, and was baptized in the river, July 16, 2023. She attended Boss Assembly of God Church and along with Dennis, helped with the Bus Ministry. Angela was blessed to have the opportunity to attend several mission trips outside the country. Angela was actively involved in Celebrate Recovery. She had a heart for the hurting and willingness to share her testimony with those around her. In her spare time, she loved to work out and listen to Christian Music. Angela leaves behind to cherish her memory loving husband: Dennis Petro of Boss, MO; stepchildren: Tanner Hamaker, Tristan Petro, and Dallas Petro; parents: Noel and Willa Reeves of Boss, MO; siblings: Connie Reeves, James Reeves, Tasha Green and spouse Jason, Kay Roper, and Rose Smith and spouse Chris as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding her in death were her brother: Noel Reeves Jr.; grandfather: Vincent Reeves; grandmother: Leona Lucille Reeves; grandfather: Chester Barrett and grandmother: Hazel Barrett. Angela was beautiful inside and out. Her zest for life was contagious. She was quirky, loved to laugh, and laughed often. Angela will be deeply missed but her legacy will continue to live on in the lives she has touched along the way. Funeral Services for Angela Renee (Reeves) Petro were held Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Boss Assembly of God Church with Pastor Dearsey Ratliff and Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Special Music was provided. Serving as Pallbearers were Jason Green, Chris Smith, Tyler White, Kyle Major, Tristan Petro, and Dallas Petro. Burial was in the Czar Tower Cemetery.
