Austin Dakota McCall

Austin Dakota McCall, born on May 20, 1997, in Houston, Missouri, passed away on July 14, 2026, Salem, Missouri, at the age of twenty-nine years. Austin was the son of Paul Boyer and Sharon (Nelson) Parker. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, Derrek Burrus, in Bunker, Missouri. His greatest pride and joy were his two children, Elena and Tyson. He cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories filled with love, laughter, and adventure. They were the center of his world. Austin loved fishing at Shawnee Mac Lakes, hunting deer on the family farm with his dad, and camping at Blair Creek. He had a passion for tinkering on four-wheelers and side-by-sides which he enjoyed riding. Whether in the woods, by the water, or around a campfire, Austin felt most at home surrounded by nature. Austin was saved and baptized at a young age. He was known for his goofy sense of humor and fun-loving personality, that had a way of making others smile. Above all, he treasured time with his family and friends. Austin is survived by his parents: Sharon Parker and Derrek Burrus of Salem, MO; children: Elena and Tyson McCall; grandparents: Willard and Tamatha Burrus of Salem, MO and Rebecca and Billy Henckel of Salem, MO; sisters: Tiffany Williams and husband Brandon of Doolittle, MO, Sarah Schafer and husband Zach of Salem, MO, Jasmine Henson of Salem, MO, and Natasha Boyer and Chris Hulse of Bronaugh, MO; niece and nephews: Hadley Williams, Lincoln Williams, and Dustin Schafer as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Preceding him in death were his father: Paul Boyer; brother: Dustin Sipley; and grandparents: Grace Nelson, Linda and George McMullin, and John Boyer. Austin will be remembered for his kindness, laughter, and adventurous spirit. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. Services were held July 25, 2026, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating. The family was served by Wilson Mortuary.
