Beverly "Bev" Lynn (Farrar) Drury

Beverly Lynn (Farrar) Drury was the daughter of Homer and Betty. She was born September 3, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri, raised in O’Fallon, and moved to Salem right out of high school. It was in Salem where she met the love of her life, Kevin Dean Drury. On August 6, 1983, Bev and Kevin were united in marriage. They were blessed with two daughters, Crystal and Amanda. Her family was her most prized possession. She was a devoted wife and caring mother. She cherished her grandsons and was looking forward to the arrival of her great-granddaughter. Bev was a dedicated worker, throughout the years she has worked at McDonalds, Hagales, and Small Miracles. Her career with Wal-Mart was rewarding as she committed twenty-two years helping customers. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and playing on her iPad. Keeping up with her virtual farm was something she thoroughly enjoyed. Bev and her family have many fond memories while camping at Montauk. Spending time with her family was what she loved the most. Bev passed away June 27, 2025, in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of sixty-seven years. She is survived by her loving husband: Kevin Drury of Salem, MO; daughters: Crystal Kittrell and husband Darrell Sr. of Salem, MO and Amanda Woodard and wife Adalyn of East Prairie, MO; brother: Steve Farrar of St. Charles, MO; sister: Cindy Williams of Salem, MO; brothers-in-law: Bud Drury and wife Carleen and Keith Drury and wife Freda; sisters-in-law: Marsha Drury and Kim Hill and husband Freddie; grandsons: Darrell Jr., Dakota, and Dalton; one great-granddaughter on the way; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding her in death were her father: Homer Farrar; mother: Betty (Wisdom) Brown; grandbaby: Dylan; sister-in-law: Vickie Gibbs and husband Ronnie; brother-in-law: Danny Drury; and her father and mother-in-law: Jim and Jessie Drury. Although she was hardheaded and opinionated at times, Bev’s strong will was always tempered with love and kindness. She wanted the best for those she loved. Her legacy is one of unwavering care, dedication, and endless love for her family and friends. She will be forever missed. Funeral Services for Beverly Lynn (Farrar) Drury were held Tuesday, July 1, 2025, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Mike Gorman officiating. Song selections played were “I’ll Leave This World Loving You” and “Go Rest High On That Mountain”. Serving as Pallbearers were Darrell Kittrell Jr., Dakota Kittrell, Dalton Kittrell, Bud Drury, Keith Drury, and Freddie Hill. Honorary Pallbearers were Nick Farrar, Justin Drury, and Darrell Kittrell Sr. Burial was in the Dry Fork Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri. Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Bev Drury to the American Cancer Society and left with Wilson Mortuary. Memorial Envelopes will be available.
