Bonnie Lee (Teague) Murray

Bonnie Lee (Teague) Murray, the daughter of the late William Lee and Hattie Louise (Crabtree) Teague was born on February 14, 1938, in Stone Hill, Missouri. She passed away on March 19, 2026, in Foristell, Missouri, at the age of eighty-eight years. Bonnie spent her early years attending the Stone Hill one-room schoolhouse and later attended Bunker High School. At the age of nineteen, she was married to William Murray, who preceded her in death on August 26, 2001. They were blessed with three children: Kevin, Lois, and Melvin, and raised their family in Foristell. Bonnie was a dedicated business owner for twenty years and also worked as an Avon representative. Her commitment to her town extended into public service, where she served as Mayor of Foristell, Missouri, leaving a lasting impact on the community she loved. Bonnie was known for her vibrant personality and her love of life. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family and friends. She had a passion for college football, particularly cheering on the Mizzou Tigers. Always ready for an adventure, she loved to “go and see stuff,” and was a natural storyteller who brought joy and laughter to those around her. Above all, her family was most important to her. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her world and brought her immense pride and happiness. She enjoyed traveling, and spending time at the lake. Bonnie always looked forward to the annual family reunions and cherished the memories made. Bonnie is survived by her son: Kevin Murray and wife Michelle of Foristell, MO; daughter: Lois Czerniewski and husband Ray of Foristell, MO; brother: Dale Teague of the Lake of the Ozarks, MO; grandchildren: Paul Hoevelman and Stormy, Kenny Czerniewski and Ashley, Aaron Czerniewski, Wade Murray and Katie, Crystal Juillerat and Josh, and Dawn Schultz and Kenny; eighteen great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding her in death were her husband: William Murray; son: Melvin Murray; parents: William and Hattie (Crabtree) Teague; brother: Doyle Teague; and sisters: Cynthia Inman and Darlene Weible. Bonnie will be remembered for her energy, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories that will live on in all who knew her. Funeral Services were held March 24, 2026, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Ken Brasier officiating. Serving as Pallbearers were Wade Murray, Kenny Czerniewski, Paul Hoevelman, Aaron Czerniewski, Faron Teague, and William Murray. Honoray Pallbearers were Crystal Juillerat and Dawn Schultz. Burial was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. The Family was served by Wilson Mortuary. Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Bonnie to Stella's Wish or Stone Hill Cemetery and left with Wilson Mortuary. Memorial Envelopes will be available.
