Chelsea Rene Nickles

Chelsea Rene Nickles was born July 12, 1995 in Rolla, Missouri to Caroll Dean Nickles and Michelle Rena Chilton. She grew up in Salem and graduated with the Class of 2013 from Salem High School. Chelsea was in a relationship with Ryan Dahm for nine years and shared many wonderful memories together. They were blessed with a beautiful little girl, Adlee. She later fell in love with Michael Schum V, and have been engaged for five years. Chelsea and Michael were blessed with a precious little boy, Michael VI and they shared a daughter, Addison. Chelsea took great pride in raising her children and was a devoted homemaker. She truly enjoyed decorating her home and creating a cozy environment for family. Chelsea was a fun, outgoing, energetic, genuine young lady who enjoyed dancing and being artistic. She loved the outdoors and spending time at the Short Bend River fishing and swimming. Her most treasured times were those she spent with her friends and family, especially the precious moments with her children. Chelsea passed away July 20, 2021 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of twenty-six years. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her, mother: Michelle Chilton and fiancé Carl Conway of Salem, MO; father: Caroll Nickles and wife Sam of Salem, MO; children: Adlee Dahm and Michael Schum VI of Salem, MO; stepdaughter: Addison Schum of Salem, MO; grandparents: Gary and Beulah Chilton of Salem, MO and David and Debbie Womack of Salem, MO; siblings: Corey Nickles of Nebraska and Nautia Nickles of Salem, MO; fiancé: Michael Schum V; special friend: Ryan Dahm of Salem, MO; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Preceding her in death, her grandparents: John and Rhoda Nickles. Chelsea will be remembered for her straightforward personality and compassionate heart. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial Services for Chelsea Rene Nickles were held Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the Salem Full Gospel Church with Pastor Bill Stack officiating. Special Music was provided by Sheri Stack. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
