Chris Allen Richardson

Chris Allen Richardson was the son of Louie and Ruth (Faulkner) Richardson. He was born April 23, 1979, in Houston, Missouri. Chris grew up in Salem and graduated in 1999 from Salem High School. Chris was united in marriage to the love of his life, Angel Hickman, September 9, 2009. They shared sixteen years creating a home filled with love and lasting memories. Chris and Angel were blessed with one daughter, Cheyenne, whom he truly loved with all his heart. Chris was a hard worker until his health declined. He worked at Heartland Metal Finishing for many years. He also worked as an in-home caregiver and was honored to help care for his aunt for several years. He was a jack of all trades, learned quickly, and enjoyed working mechanically on cars. In his spare time, he liked to go fishing. Above all his family, faith, and friends were most important to him. He was a devoted husband and was the calm to Angel’s storm. He was a dedicated father and supported Cheyenne through all her achievements. Chris was a member of Salem Full Gospel Church and enjoyed the fellowship there. Chris passed away October 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Salem, Missouri, at the age of forty-six years. Those left behind to treasure his memory include his loving wife Angel Richardson of Salem, MO; daughter: Cheyenne Richardson of the home; father: Louie Richardson of Salem, MO; brothers: Michael Richardson of Salem, MO and Louie Richardson Jr. of Salem, MO; sister: Lucenda Thomas and husband Edwin of Pomona, MO; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding him in death was his mother: Ruth Ann Richardson. Chris will be remembered for his genuine kindness, patience, strong will, and love he had for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed for fondly remembered by those who knew and loved him. Funeral Services for Chris Allen Richardson were held Wednesday, November 5, 2025, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Bill Stack officiating. Song selections played were “Jealous of the Angels”, “Daddy’s Girl”, “Beat You There”, “Dad”, and “Homesick”. Serving as Pallbearers were Michael Richardson, Louie Richardson Jr., Randall Herman, George Myers, Danny “Oscar” Pierce, and Billy Holloway. Honorary Pallbearer was Mikol Skaggs. Burial was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. The Family was served by Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
