Christy Rae (Brisentine) Chamberlain

Christy Rae (Brisentine) Chamberlain was born February 24, 1966, in Corinth, Mississippi to Clifford and Margaret (Johnson) Brienstine. She moved to Salem, Missouri at a young age and graduated with the class of 1984 from Salem High School. After high school she furthered her education at Metro Business College and obtained her associate degree in business management. On August 9, 1985, Christy was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Rusty Chamberlain. They shared thirty-seven years of marriage and memories together. Christy and Rusty were blessed with four children: Nancy, Erin, Devin, and Kegan. Christy, a dedicated worker, was currently working as the maintenance director with Car-Mart. She previously worked in the Dent County Public Administrator’s Office with Jim Kotschedoff and enjoyed helping others in the community she served. Christy was a proud supporter of her family and supported her children one hundred percent. Her favorite thing to do was watch her grandchildren grow and supporting them in their sporting events and other activities. She was the best Nana in the world that never missed a ballgame. Christy also enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. Christy loved a good game of softball. She lived life to the fullest and was full of love and laughter. Christy knew how to light up the room and put a smile on your face. She was a lady of great faith and member of Dry Fork Baptist Church. Christy entered into eternal rest on May 1, 2023, in Springfield, Missouri at the age of fifty-seven years. Those left to treasure her memory are her loving husband: Rusty Chamberlain of Salem, MO; children: Nancy Brisentine and Jami Fann, Erin and Daniel Goes, as well as Devin and Katie Chamberlain all of Salem, MO; father: Clifford “Skipper” Brisentine of Mississippi; siblings: Shane Brisentine and Ashley Reynolds of Florida, Terry Brisentine of Germany, and Chase and Ryan Brisentine of Tennessee; grandchildren: Dalton, Eli, Jared, Aiden, Carson, Parker, Brayleigh, Lucas, and Harley; one great-grandchild on the way: Kinsley; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. Preceding her in death, her son: Kegan Chamberlain; and her mother: Margaret Ellis. Christy was beautiful inside and out. She touched the life of many and will be deeply missed. Funeral Services for Christy Rae (Brisentine) Chamberlain were held Thursday, May 4, 2023, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Joe Hubbs officiating. Memories were shared by family and friends. Special music was provided by Melinda Medlock singing “How Beautiful Heaven Must Be”, “Far Side Banks of Jordan”, and “Victory in Jesus”. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri. Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Christy Chamberlain to Wilson Mortuary.
