Doris & Leroy Rosemann

Leroy Robert Rosemann was born May 7, 1936 in Normandy, Missouri to Joseph and Margaret (Reichaldt) Rosemann and departed this life April 22, 2021 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of eighty-four years. Doris Jean (Burke) Rosemann was born June 29, 1936 in Dent County, Missouri to Cecil and Mildred (Thompson) Burke and departed this life February 7, 2022 in Rolla, Missouri at the age of eighty-five years. Leroy and Doris were united in marriage September 27, 1958 in Normandy, Missouri and to this union blessed with nine children: Jeff, Mike, Tim, Greg, Mark, Gina, Dave, Dianne, and Angie. They raised their family on good family values and showed their children how to live courageously and virtuously. Leroy worked hard to provide for his family, he was a member of the Carpenter Union with sixty-years of devotion. Doris was a dedicated homemaker and took great pride in raising her family and running the family farm. Leroy and Doris loved sitting on the front porch together and riding around on the farm. Leroy liked turkey hunting and enjoyed researching his family history. Doris liked tending to her plants, flowers, and rosebushes. Most important to them were their family and the memories they made together. They cherished their grandchildren and treasured their great-grandchildren. Leroy and Doris are survived by loving children: Jeff Rosemann and wife Chan of Rolla, MO, Mike Rosemann of Bourbon, MO, Tim Rosemann and wife Claudia of Germany, Greg Rosemann of Wentzville, MO, Mark Rosemann and special friend Jill of Troy, MO, Gina LaRue and husband Tom of Wentzville, MO, Dave Rosemann of St. James, MO, Dianne Whitaker and husband Clinton of Salem, MO, and Angie Parker and husband Jeremy of Festus, MO; sixteen grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. Leroy is survived by siblings: Catherine Rosemann and Clarence Rosemann. Doris is survived by siblings: Lois Smith, Leonard Burke, Gary Nims, Sandra Palon, Sanda Perkins, and Cathy Baker and husband Steve. Leroy and Doris will be remembered for the love they had for each other and their family. They leave behind a great legacy and will be forever missed. Celebration of Life Gathering for Leroy and Doris Rosemann was held Sunday, February 13, 2022 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel.
