Eric William Steelman

Eric William Steelman was born on May 27, 1985 in Rolla, Missouri to Rickie Gene and Rhonda Mae (Williams) Steelman. He grew up in Salem, Missouri with his five siblings: Jason, Bo, Jessica, Aaron, and Alicia. They had a special bond and valued spending time together. Eric was blessed with three children: Mason, Jasmine, and Ryder and two stepchildren: Bethany and Junior. He truly loved them and was proud of their accomplishments. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye and he treasured making memories with them. Eric worked in the sawmill industry for many years. He was a hard worker and worked hard to provide for his family. Eric enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors; especially hunting and fishing. He liked to walk the creeks and spend time at the river. Eric loved to work with his hands tattooing and tinkering on cars. He was a man of faith and attended Salem Faith Assembly Church. Eric passed away on October 14, 2022 at the age of thirty-seven years. He will be deeply missed by, his parents: Rick and Rhonda Steelman of Salem, MO; children: Mason Flowers and husband Brandon, Jasmine Steelman, Ryder Steelman, and Whiskey Steelman; stepchildren: Bethany Bellah and Junior Bellah; grandchildren: Adalynn Steelman and Oaklynn Flowers; siblings: Bo Steelman, Aaron Steelman, and Alicia Steelman; significant other: Belinda Robertson; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding him in death, siblings: Jason Williams and Jessica Steelman. Eric leaves a huge void in the lives of those who loved him most. He will be forever missed. Memorial Services for Eric William Steelman were held Friday, October 21, 2022 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Billy Anderson officiating. Song selections played were “Half the Man”, “Creeker”, “Outskirts of Heaven”, ‘Brotherly Love”, and “Take Me to Church”. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary, Salem, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Eric Steelman and left at Wilson Mortuary. Memorial Envelopes will be available.
