Harriet J. Enloe

Harriet Joan Enloe was born June 29, 1939 in Rushville, Illinois to George and Caroline (Bradbury) Rebman and passed away January 13, 2019 in the Salem Memorial District Hospital of Salem, Missouri at the age of seventy-nine years. Harriet grew up and attended school at Rushville, Illinois. On January 16, 1957, Harriet Rebman was united in marriage to David Paul Enloe and to this union eight children were born. Harriet was a member of Timber Pentecostal Church. She loved going to church, listening to Jimmy Swaggart, and reading her bible. Some hobbies Harriet enjoyed were crocheting, sewing, and crafts with her grandchildren, and making Christmas candy for family. She looked forward to movie night with Alex, and Taco Tuesday with Brad and Nikki. Harriet cherished the time she had with her family. Preceding her in death was her husband, Paul Enloe; parents, George and Caroline Rebman; son, David Paul Enloe, Jr.; brothers, Tom, George, and Jim Rebman; son in law, Verl Light; grandchild, Earl Lee Pax. Survivors include her children, Betty Pax and husband, Earl of Silex, MO, Cindy Pax and husband, Danny of Salem, MO, Tom Enloe and wife, Joyce of Timber, MO, Jeff Enloe and wife, Theresa of Timber, MO, Lori Gamble and husband, David of Silex, MO, Kathy Hamilton and husband, Chris of Timber, MO, Sarah Wessel and husband, Scott of Terra Haute, IN; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and many other relatives and friends. Harriet will be sadly and deeply missed, but fondly remembered by all those who knew and loved her. Funeral Service for Harriet Joan Enloe was held Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the Wilson Mortuary of Salem with Pastor Tom Enloe officiating. Memories were shared by Lonnie Mosley, Stanley and Liz Wallace song special music and Ashley Enloe song "Whisper Prayer". Serving as Pallbearers were David Enloe, Paul Pax, Michael Enloe, Dean Light, Alex Hamilton and Marc Pax. Interment was in the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery with Jerry Piatt shared the graveside message. All arrangements under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem.
