Karen Sue Weber

Karen Sue (Miller) Weber was born April 25, 1956 in Newark, Ohio to Roy and Alice (Phillips) Miller and passed away January 13, 2019 in the Phelps Regional Hospital, Rolla, Missouri at the age of sixty-two years. Karen grew up and attended school in Ohio. On November 22, 1975, she was united in marriage to Joseph Weber in St. James, Missouri and to this union three sons were born. Karen worked as a sales representative for several different companies, one of which was Home & Garden Party for which she was nationally recognized as being 1st in Sales and 1st in Recruiting. She was later employed with David Roberts, CPA as office manager. Karen enjoyed decorating, loved people, and lived for her grandchildren. She wrote a book, "Pink Duck" about her cancer journey. Karen was a member of New Harmony Church where she was also a faithful servant. Preceding her in death was her sister, Lynn Segar. Survivors include her husband, Joe Weber of Salem, MO; three sons, Timothy Weber and wife, Michelle of Ironton, MO; Wesley Weber of Salem, MO and Amber Brown of Branson, MO; James Weber and wife, Kira of Rolla, MO; parents, Roy and Alice Miller of Rolla, MO; one sister, Jill Neugebauer and husband, Steve of Rolla, MO; two sisters in law, Theresa Robinett of Joplin, MO; Bonita Stutson and husband, Tom of Williston, FL; two brothers in law, Robert Weber and wife, Tina of Russellville, AR; Clarence Segar of Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Gabriella, Joshua, Abigail, Bethany, Alexis, and Melody; one adopted daughter, Ahleesha Elwood and husband, Michael of Salem, MO; extended family, Mark and Natalie Bailey; and many other relatives and friends. Karen will be sadly and deeply missed, but fondly remembered by all those who knew and loved her. Funeral service for Karen Sue Weber was held Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the New Harmony Church in Salem, Missouri with Pastor David Gidcumb officiating. Special music was "Jesus Messiah" and "Jerusalem". Serving as pallbearers were Timothy Weber, Wesley Weber, James Weber, Joshua Weber, Brandon Sherman, Bryon Sherman, Mike Elwood and Mark Bailey. Honorary Pallbearers were Jeremy Sherman and Jacob Sherman. Interment was in the New Harmony Cemetery in Salem, Missouri. All arrangements under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem.
