Kayla Marie Inman

Kayla Marie Inman was born on December 26, 1991, in Rolla, Missouri to Kendall Perry and Tracie Annette (Happel) Inman. Kayla grew up in Salem, Missouri and attended Salem High School. She was a hard-worker and currently employed with Penn Industries. Kayla was blessed with two children: Kingston and Kenzie. She was a mother hen, her love for kids was never unnoticed. Kayla was genuinely kind, caring and compassionate. She was a good person who would do anything for anyone. Kayla loved all animals, swimming, sports, being outdoors, and enjoyed listening to music. But most of all, Kayla loved being with her daughter, Kenzie and family. Kayla passed away on December 12, 2020, in Columbia, Missouri at the age of twenty-eight years. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving parents: Kendall and Tracie Inman of Salem, MO; brother: Tyler Inman of Jefferson City, MO; daughter: McKenzie Inman; grandparents: Gary and Karen Happel of Salem, MO and Perry and Verna Inman of Salem, MO; aunts and uncles: Anthony and Breann Valley of Belle, MO, Gary B. and Cindy Happel of Morrisville, MO; Kerry and Tina Inman of Salem, MO, Kent and Tammy Inman of Salem, MO, Kasey and Lisa Inman of Salem, MO, and Kevin and Melanie Inman of Minnesota; wife: Dawn Inman of Salem, MO; as well as a host of cousins, extended family, and friends. Preceding her in death, son: Kingston; great grandparents: Arthur and Alma Steen, Herbert and Pauline Happel, Donald and Lizzy Inman, and Guy and Ada Fowler; cousins: Dakota Inman and Fayth Valley. Kayla had a fun sense of humor, big heart, and great personality. She touched the lives of many and will be forever missed. Funeral Services for Kayla Marie Inman were held Thursday, December 17, 2020 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Bro. Kermit Lonning officiating. Song selections played were “Slipped Away” and “Staind”. Serving as Pallbearers were Whilliam Richter, Jon Valley, Carl Cummings, Dustin Inman, Chris Shoffner, and Marlin Happel. Honorary Pallbearers were Kent Inman, Kerry Inman, Kevin Inman, Kasey Inman, Anthony Valley, Gary B. Happel, Peyton Valley, Ryan Happel, and Jayce Perkins. Burial was in the Dry Fork Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri. Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Kayla Marie Inman and left at Wilson Mortuary.
