Kenneth Monroe Emory

Kenneth Monroe Emory, 91, passed away on September 21, 2024, in Rolla, Missouri. Born on March 19, 1933, in Boss, Missouri, he grew up in a close-knit family and was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Villa Emory, his brother, Larry Emory, and his loving wife, Hilda Emory. Kenneth dedicated many years to Cominco Mines, where he worked as a Foreman, demonstrating strong leadership and robust work ethic. Beyond his professional life, Kenneth was deeply committed to his faith, actively participating in the Boss Assembly of God. A man of many talents and interests, Kenneth was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. His skills in welding and carpentry were not only hobbies but also ways he contributed to his community, often helping others by building and fixing things. Kenneth’s love for the outdoors was paralleled by his passion for yard work and creating things with his hands. Kenneth’s legacy continues through his family, who remember him as someone always willing to lend a helping hand. He is survived by his four children, Debra Emory and husband (David Bingham), Cathy Henry and husband (Patrick), Randy Emory, Jeff Emory and wife (Tammy); four grandchildren, Christina Richardson and husband (Brad), Josh Hogan and wife (Elizabeth), Brittany Goetz and husband (Matt), Eric Emory and wife (Jennifer); and seven great-grandchildren, Hailee Richardson, Lauren O’Dell and husband (Andie), Maggie Hogan, Ellie Hogan, Ty Hogan, Emma Goetz, Ben Goetz, Harper Emory, and Hudson Emory. Kenneth’s life and contributions will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, as a pillar of strength, generosity, and love. Funeral Services for Kenneth Monroe Emory were held Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the Boss Assembly of God Church with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Special Music was provided by pianist Pam Davis and soloist Jim Pryor. Serving as Pallbearers were Josh Hogan, Tyler Hogan, Kirk Emory, Eric Emory, Ben Goetz, and Brad Richardson.
