Kyle Joseph Sutton

Kyle Joseph Sutton was born on May 11, 1983. He grew up in Salem, Missouri and graduated from Salem High School with the Class of 2001. While in high school he was a member of the choir from seventh to twelfth grade. His passion for music continued and he had a great love for different genera of music from Johnny Cash to alternative Opera. Kyle started his working career at the age of sixteen with Country Mart and was employed there until 2013. After moving to Kentucky, he started working at Shelbiana Food City and was the assistant produce manager. Kyle was honest, reliable, hardworking, and truly cared about the people he worked with. His dedication to his job, employer, and employees was unmeasurable. If anyone ever needed him, he would be there. Kyle was full of life, a big jokester, and loved to tell stories just to make others laugh. He was very witty and always prepared with a witty answer. Kyle was a history buff, avid gamer, animal lover, stock market enthusiast, and enjoyed traveling. Kyle was of the Christian faith and attended Connection Church when his work schedule allowed. His family, friends, and co-workers were important to him and he valued spending time with them. Kyle departed this life on September 14, 2021 in Pikeville, Kentucky at the age of thirty-eight years. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his mother: Becky Sutton Russell and husband John of Salem, MO; fiancé: Samantha Adkins of Pikeville, KY; aunt and uncle: Bonnie and Paul Maledy of St. Charles, MO; cousins: Wade Maledy and Joey Maledy; and a host of family and friends. Preceding him in death, grandparents: Helen Farrar Sutton and Joseph Edward Sutton; and a host of aunts and uncles. Kyle was one of a kind, his memories will continue to live in those who knew and loved him. Funeral Services for Kyle Joseph Sutton were held Saturday, September 18, 2021 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating. Song selections played were "Amazing Grace, My Chains Are Gone" and "Scars In Heaven". Serving as Pallbearers were Raul Segovia, Nic Bundy, Nat Bundy, Wade Maledy, Darrell Kittrell, and Jeff Stephens. Honorary Pallbearers were Joey Maledy and Alisha Rickerd-McCallister. Burial was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
