Lois Marie (Floyd) Robnett-Thomas

Lois Marie (Floyd) Robnett-Thomas was born March 29, 1928 in Rhyse, Missouri to Alta Floyd. She was raised in Salem by her mother and stepfather Edward Lunn. Marie attended school in Salem and later went to beauty school to get her cosmetology certificate. Marie was united in marriage to Sherrill Robnett on July 3, 1950 and to this union they were blessed with three children: Charles, Larry, and Shirley. Marie and Sherrill shared together forty-four years of marriage before his passing July 31, 1994. Marie later met her sweetheart, Henry Thomas, and in September 2010 they were united in marriage. Marie and Henry were blessed with four years before his passing in 2014. Marie loved to do hair and was a talented hairdresser, owning and operator of Back Stage in Ellisville for many years. She was a skilled quilter having made many beautiful quilts throughout the years. Marie even had people from around the world send her their quilt tops for her to quilt. Marie was a caring mother, loving grandmother, and doting great-grandmother. She loved her family deeply and cherished all the time she spent making memories with her family. Marie was a lady of faith and member of the Zion Methodist Church. She was also a member of the White Shrine and Eastern Star. Her community involvement kept her busy, but she found joy in helping others. Marie entered into eternal rest January 25, 2023, in Salem, Missouri at the age of ninety-four years. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, loving son: Larry Robnett and Darla (Click) Robnett of Salem, MO; daughter: Shirley (Robnett) Rabourn and husband Tom Rabourn of Gravois Mills, MO; grandchildren: Charles Jr., Jeannie, Justin, Michael, Lisa, and Becky; great-grandchildren: Tyler, Austin, Harley, Cody, Quinn, Charlie Ann Marie, Leland, Tanner, and Milena; sister: Bonnie Berry; sisters-in-law: Rozetta Schiebe, Sue Lunn, and Carlene Lunn; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. Preceding her in death, husbands: Sherrill Robnett and Henry Thomas; son: Charles Robnett; mother: Alta (Floyd) Lunn; stepfather: Edward Lunn; brothers: Leo Lunn and Leon Lunn; sister: Emma Dean Russell and husband Callie “Dick”, and brothers-in-law: Ottis Berry and Robert Sheibe. Marie leaves her family a legacy of love and devotion. She will be forever missed by those who loved her most. Funeral Services for Lois Marie (Floyd) Robnett-Thomas were held Saturday, January 28, 2023 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Ken Brasier officiating. Song selections played were “Amazing Grace”, “Old Rugged Cross”, “In The Garden”, and “I’ll Fly Away”. Serving as Pallbearers were Charlie Robnett Jr., Jeannie Baumhoegger, Tyler Smith, Jesse Chandler, Justin Volner, Michael Volner, Becky Chandler, and Lisa Smith. Honorary Pallbearers were Josh Rabourn, Jake Rabourn, and Rick Baumhoegger. Burial was in the North Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
