Oren Glenwood LaRue, 95, of Belleview, Missouri entered eternal rest Friday, January 10, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at the Locust Grove United Baptist Church, Oates, Missouri. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at the Locust Grove United Baptist Church. Burial to follow in the Sam Crocker Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Wilson Mortuary of Viburnum, Missouri. Oren is survived by his loving children: Elaine Sue (Stephen) Harris, Terry (Toreen) LaRue, Gary LaRue, Philip (Mary) LaRue, Scott (Cindy) LaRue, and Shane (Stacy) LaRue; sister: Doris Wigger; brother: Jerry LaRue; grandchildren: Wes (Brooke) Harris, Garrett (Amanda) Harris, Lucas (Tonya) LaRue, Brooke (Steven) Pyatt, Krystle (Chad) Smith, Sammi (Greg) Parker, Kirk (Sarah) LaRue, Michelle LaRue, Katie (Sean) Viets, Clay (Patricia) LaRue, Kristie LaRue, Rob (Dianne)Jacobs, and Natalie Robinson; great-grandchildren: Ty (Mchenzie) Harris, Wyatt Harris, Lexi Harris, Loni Harris, Londyn Harris, Maverick Harris, Macsen Harris, Cadence Harris, Gage Harris, Kathryn LaRue, Clark LaRue, Elijah Pyatt, Lanee Pyatt, Halee Pyatt, Walker Smith, Toree Smith, Owen Parker, Ali Parker, Elsie LaRue, Ivy LaRue, Lily Viets, Hudson Viets, Lane LaRue, Leighton LaRue, Maddie Jacobs, Brooke Jacobs, Kyra Jacobs, Charli Robinson, and Bently Robinson; great-great-granddaughter: Layla Harris; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding him in death were his loving wife of sixty-eight years: Laura Jane (White) LaRue; parents: Elmer and Nellie (Brooks) LaRue; father and mother-in-law: Edgar and Velma (Mathes) White; brothers: Howard LaRue and Bill LaRue; brothers-in-law: Robert Wigger, Carl White, Aaron White, and Earl White; sisters-in-law: Corine LaRue, Carol LaRue, Evelyn LaRue, Forcine Dunn, Jerline White, Geneva Barton, Alma White, Rose Barton, and Shirley Dunn; and his granddaughter: Tonya Harris.
