Pamela Michell (Pryor) Brush

Pamela “Pam” Michell (Pryor) Brush was born February 12, 1978, in Farmington, Missouri, to Calvin and Tammy (Askew) Pryor. She departed this earth August 25, 2023, in Columbia, Missouri, at the age of forty-five years. Pam, or “Pammy” as she was known to some of her family, graduated from Viburnum High School then attended Mineral Area College and Missouri University of Science & Technology. She later became a licensed insurance agent. Pam was a free spirit with many talents. She loved all genres of music and had a beautiful singing voice. She was blessed with the gift of writing and won awards for her poetry and short stories. She had a green thumb and was awed by the beauty of nature around her. She loved traveling and doing things in order “to make memories.” Pam touched many lives whether as a caretaker, server, teacher, or salesperson; but the most important role of her life was mom to Trenton and Kali. She was a devoted mother, kind daughter, treasured sister, and loyal friend with a zest for life. Her upbeat attitude, crazy sense of humor, gorgeous smile, and infectious laugh were the envy of others. The world is dimmer without her ray of sunshine. Pam was preceded in death by her loving mother: Tammy Pryor; special uncle: Dennis Pryor; cousin: Jami Vance; maternal grandfather: Sonny “Perry” Askew Jr.; great-grandparents: Howard and Faye Chandler, Lorian and Velma Pryor, Claude and Alice Brooks, and Perry and Helen Askew. Those left to mourn her untimely passing are her beloved children: Trenton Moore and Kali Brush; father: Calvin Pryor and wife Vicky; paternal grandparents who raised her after the death of her mother: Darrell and Betty Pryor; sister: Cindy Pryor; maternal grandparents: Les and Patty Dyck; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and coworkers. Words of wisdom from Pam: “Life is so short. Make the best of every single moment and don’t let important moments pass you by without saying how you feel. Time is ticking. Love without fear.” Funeral Services for Pamela Michell (Pryor) Brush were held Friday, September 1, 2023, in the Wilson Mortuary Viburnum Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Chandler and Paul Coverdell officiating. Special Music was provided and additional song selection played was “Let Her Fly”. Serving as Pallbearers were Calvin Pryor, Trenton Moore, Terry Chandler, Jen Bradfield, Amanda Jacks, and Willie Esquivel. Honorary Pallbearers were Cindy Pryor, Kassi Anderson, Rick Turner, and Bonnie Nadeau. Burial was in the Lower Indian Creek Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Viburnum, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Pam Brush to Wilson Mortuary to help with funeral expenses. Memorial Envelopes will be available.
