Richard "Ricky" Frank Tiefenthaler

Richard “Ricky” Frank Tiefenthaler was born January 1, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Richard and Joyce (Aubuchon) Tiefenthaler. He grew up in Foristell, Missouri, before moving to Salem. Ricky graduated with the class of 1973 from Salem High School. Ricky was united in marriage to Wilma and to this union blessed with four daughters: Sara, Amber, Amy, and Angie. His family meant the world to him. He was a proud father and even prouder grandfather. Ricky loved making memories with his three grandchildren. Ricky was owner/operator of Mid Ozark Floor Cleaning helping residents and businesses in Dent County and surrounding communities for nearly fifty years. He was a dedicated farmer and cattleman, finding his true calling in the land. Ricky loved his cows as if they were his kids. Ricky was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed riding his Bombardier through the fields, turkey hunting with his bow, and deer hunting with his brothers. Ricky also liked Muzzleloader hunting at Caney Mountain Conservation Area. Ricky departed this life March 4, 2025, in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of seventy years. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving daughters: Sara Tiefenthaler and significant other Kris Hudson of Little Rock, AR, Amber Mantilla of Salem, MO, Amy Dunn and husband Christopher of Salem, MO, Angie Hurst and husband Clayton of Bluejacket, OK; brothers: David Tiefenthaler and wife Karla and Donnie Tiefenthaler and wife Cheryl; friend: Wilma Tiefenthaler; grandchildren: Julian, Vivian, and Coleson; special friends: Gary and Pat Medlock; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding him in death were his parents: Richard and Joyce Tiefenthaler; and his brother: Jesse Tiefenthaler. Ricky always put others first and was known for his willingness to help anyone in need. Above all, his faith, family, and friends were most important to him. He will be forever missed. Memorial Services for Richard “Ricky” Frank Tiefenthaler were held Saturday, March 8, 2025, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Charlie Younger officiating. Many special memories were shared. Song selection played was “Go Rest High On That Mountain”. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Ricky Tiefenthaler to Wilson Mortuary to help with final expenses. Memorial Envelopes will be available.
