Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Fann

Ronald “Ronnie” Lee Fann was born June 29, 1966, Harrisburg, Illinois. He was one of four children born to Henry and Luciell. Ronnie grew up in Harrisburg and graduated with the class of 1984 from Harrisburg High School. Ronnie was a hard worker in every endeavor he pursued. Throughout his working career, he worked on the barge, in the timber industry, at the sawmill, and as a dedicated farm hand. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed riding and tinkering on his motorcycle. Ronnie was known as a talented mechanic and could fix anything. Ronnie loved the outdoors. He liked spending time in the woods hunting and fishing at the local ponds. Most important to him were his family and friends. His children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews meant the world to him, and he treasured the memories they made together. Ronnie was a man of faith and attended Salem Church of Christ on South 19 when he was able. Ronnie entered eternal rest September 18, 2023, in Rolla, Missouri at the age of fifty-seven years. He leaves behind his loving family including, children: Tyler Shaves of Harrisburg, IL, Tori Shavez of Harrisburg, IL, and Josh Fann of Kentucky; mother: Luciell Riley and husband Dan of Jadwin, MO; siblings: Henry Fann and Jackie Hobson of Lenox, MO, Angie Raulston of Illinois, and John Fann and Cathy of Salem, MO; several grandchildren; special niece: Brittney Clayton and husband Randy of Rolla, MO; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends. Preceding him in death, his father: Henry Fann and his grandparents. Ronnie was one of a kind and left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him most. Memorial Services for Ronald “Ronnie” Lee Fann were held Saturday, September 23, 2023, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Lyndell Decker officiating. Song selections played were “I’ll Meet You by The River”, “Come As You Are”, “Scars In Heaven”, and “Go Rest High on that Mountain”. Burial was in the Jadwin Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction and care of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri. Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Ronnie Fann to Three Rivers Hospice and left with Wilson Mortuary. Memorial Envelopes will be available.
