Ronda Sue (Pryor) Hagen

Ronda Sue (Pryor) Hagen was born November 22, 1956, in Salem, Missouri. She was one of eight children born to her parents Clifton and Blanche (Parker) Pryor. Ronda was a wonderful daughter and sister. Her bond with her siblings was strong and they share memories that will be treasured forever. Ronda met the love of her life, Robert Hagen, while working at the International Shoe Factory. From this moment the two were inseparable and united in marriage on June 28, 1975. Ronda and Robert shared a deep love and created a lifetime of cherished moments. They were rarely apart and often remarked how lucky they were to have found each other. Throughout her life, Ronda embraced various roles with grace and dedication. From her work at the International Shoe Factory and Hagales to her compassionate service as a childcare worker with the Christian Day Care, her professional journey was defined by her kindness and commitment to helping others. However, her most cherished roles were those of a wife, sister, aunt, and friend. Ronda loved shopping, especially for clothes, and liked a good bargain. One of her favorite past times was porch sitting in the afternoons watching the hummingbirds and the evenings with Robert watching the deer. Spending time with her beloved furbaby, Sugar, brought endless joy and warm lap cuddles. Most importantly, her faith in the Lord was evident to all she encountered. She has been a faithful member of New Home Baptist Church for last seven years. Ronda entered eternal rest December 15, 2024, in Salem, Missouri, at the age of sixty-eight years. Those left behind to treasure her memory include her loving husband: Robert Hagen of Salem, MO; siblings: Janice Stricklin and husband Silas of Salem, MO, Joyce Conway of Salem, MO, Curtis Pryor of Salem, MO, and Steve Pryor and wife Beverly of Salem, MO; sister-in-law: Vivian Pryor of Salem, MO; brother-in-law: Albert McCarter of Rogersville, MO; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding her in death were her parents: Clifton and Blanche (Parker) Pryor; sisters: Freeda McCarter and Glenna Golden and husband Sherman; and brother: Danny Pryor. Ronda’s journey touched the lives of many, leaving behind cherished memories, and a legacy of strength, resilience, and love. She will be forever missed by those who loved her most. Funeral Services for Ronda Sue (Pryor) Hagen were held Saturday, December 21, 2024, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Charlie Younger officiating. Song selections played were “In The Garden” and “Hou Great Thou Art”. Serving as Pallbearers were Chad Conway, Wade McCarter, Sean Pryor, Kerry Hagen, Logan Woods, and Darin Pryor. Honorary Pallbearers were Keith Golden and Tim Parson. Burial was in the Gladden Empire Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
