Rosalee (Kerr) Delmain

Rosalee (Kerr) Delmain, born June 15, 1942, in Alley Springs, Missouri. She was the daughter of Raymond and Hazel (Younger) Kerr. She grew up and has many fond childhood memories in what she called the Alley. On August 21, 1959, Rosalee was united in marriage to the love of her life, Darrel Delmain. They shared sixty-six years creating a loving family and lasting memories. Rosalee and Darrell were blessed to be the parents of: Darrel Jr., Laura, and Raymond. Rosalee dedicated her life to her family and worked hard to help provide for them. Throughout her working career she was a Certified Nurse Assistant in several nursing homes, a cook at the Boys Home, and worked a few years at Delano. Aside from work, Rosalee enjoyed the simple things in life. She liked to go camping at Red Bluff Campground. She had a pet horse, Mokey, and beloved fur babies, Jasper, Cricket, and Molly. Her family was her top priority, and she held them close to her heart. She treasured her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, always displaying unconditional love. Rosalee had faith in the Lord and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Rosalee passed away November 18, 2025, in Salem, Missouri, at the age of eighty-three years. She is survived by her loving husband: Darrel Delmain Sr. of Salem, MO; children: Darrel Delmain Jr. of Salem, MO, Laura Delmain of Salem, MO, and Raymond Delmain of Union, MO; grandchildren: Dwayne Bell and wife Brooke, TJ Kalter, Josh Delmain, Nikki Tiefenthaler and wife Staci, Rick Kalter and wife Tina, Jennifer Payne, William Likes and partner Sabrina, Raymond Delmain, James Delmain, Jacob Likes, Illaria Ibanez and partner Leo, Nicholas Ibanez, Hailey Roberts, many loved great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Preceding her in death were two infant children; parents: Raymond and Hazel Kerr; brother: Ricky Kerr; and nieces: Melissa McMurry and Stacey Ridens. Those who knew Rosalee will remember what a spitfire she was, but down inside her heart overflowed with love and compassion. She truly was one of a kind filled with kindness and generosity.
