Rosetta "Bobbie" (Quick) Pace

Rosetta "Bobbie" Pace was born on April 23, 1935, in Bunker, Missouri to Edward and Rose (Gordon) Quick and passed away September 29, 2019, in Salem, Missouri at the age of eighty-four years. Bobbie grew up near Sinking Creek, Missouri and attended school at Bunker. She enjoyed attending Sunday School at the Pentecostal Church of God and loved worshiping with her Church Family. Bobbie married the love of her life, Freddie "Gene" Eugene Pace on October 15, 1955 in Salem, Missouri. Together they shared fifty-eight years of marriage and were blessed with three children: Linda, Brenda and Terry. During her working years, Bobbie worked at the International Shoe Factory and was a Babysitter for many families. Most of all, she took great pride in raising her own family. Bobbie enjoyed cooking for her friends and family, especially during Christmas time. Christmas was her favorite holiday, she always liked getting presents and truly believed she deserved them. In her spare time, Bobbie loved being outside tending to her flower gardens. But most importantly, she delighted in spending time with her family. Bobbie especially loved the blessing of being a grandmother and great grandmother. Her grandchildren were her joy. Preceding her in death, were her parents Edward and Rose Quick; infant sister; brothers: Jimmy, Raymond and Donnie Quick and sister: Betty Pace. Bobbie is survived by her three children: Linda Evans and husband Lewis of Sweetwater, TX, Brenda Pace of Salem, MO and Terry Pace and wife Amanda of Nevada, MO; two sisters: Martha Pruitt and husband Delbert of Salem, MO and Minnie May Clayton and husband Bruce of Joplin, MO; seven grandchildren: Michael Stephens of Ozark, MO, Tommy Stephens and wife Jenny of Ash Grove, MO, Krystal Simpson and husband Jarrod of Salem, MO, Morgan Nothaus and husband Jared of Salem, MO, Aaron Pace and wife Alicia of St. James, MO, Austin Duncan and wife Amanda of Salem, MO and Emily Pace of Nevada, MO; fourteen great-grandchildren; extended relatives and friends. Bobbie was a loving mother and a wonderful grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral Services for Rosetta "Bobbie" Pace were held Friday, October 4, 2019 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Sister Veronica Lato officiating. Song selections played were "Amazing Grace", "Jealous of the Angels", "How Great Thou Art" and "I Want To Stroll Over Heaven With You". Serving as Pallbearers were: Michael Stephens, Tommy Stephens, Jarrod Simpson, Jared Nothaus, Aaron Pace and Austin Duncan. Honorary Pallbearer was Eddie Pruitt. Burial was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. All arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem.
