Sandra Dee Stoner

Sandra Dee Stoner was born on July 28, 1962, in Salem, Missouri, to Ed and Joan (Dotson) Stoner. She graduated from Viburnum High School with the Class of 1980. As one of three daughters, Sandra shared a strong and lasting bond with her sisters, and family remained at the center of her life. Since 1991, Sandra enjoyed a loving and devoted friendship with Tim Swaffer. For thirty-five years they treasured each other's company, creating countless memories together through life's joys and everyday moments. Known for her strong work ethic, Sandra dedicated many years as a manager with Dollar General before becoming a department manager at Walmart, where she was respected for her leadership, kindness, and willingness to help others. Sandra dearly loved her niece and nephew, treating them as if they were her own children. She took great pride in watching them grow and start families of their own. She and her sisters made treasured trips together throughout many of the northeastern states, creating memories they would cherish forever. She especially loved seeing the ocean and spending time in the Smoky Mountains. Sandra found beauty in God's creation. She loved taking photographs of birds and flowers. She enjoyed collecting raccoon figurines and stuffed animals. Her favorite color was red, and she loved spending time outdoors hiking and exploring. A woman of deep faith, Sandra attended Second Baptist Church of Salem, where she faithfully served. She had a true servant's heart, always willing to lend a helping hand wherever there was a need. Her kindness, compassion, and genuine love for helping others touched many lives. Sandra entered her Heavenly Home June 30, 2026, in Salem, Missouri, at the age of sixty-three years. She is survived by her dear friend: Tim Swaffer of Salem, MO; sisters: Bess Dotson of Salem, MO and Judy Conway and husband Steve of Salem, MO; nephew: Dustin Conway and wife Renae; niece: Brooke Conway; great-nephew: Isaac Conway; great-niece: Zoey Conway; extended family and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents: Ed and Joan (Dotson) Stoner. Sandra will be remembered for her loving heart, unwavering faith, generous spirit, and the joy she found in family, nature, and serving others. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services were held Monday, July 6, 2026, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Clay Harper officiating. Serving as Pallbearers were Dan Hillebert, Travis Wethy, John Dotson, Matt Pax, Dale Conway, and Danny Baum. Honorary Pallbearers were Dustin Conway, Isaac Conway, and Steve Conway. Burial was in the Maple Grove Cemetery. The family was served by Wilson Mortuary.
