Sheena Danielle (Chandler) Hodge

Sheena Danielle (Chandler) Hodge was born May 11, 1983, in Rolla, Missouri to Terry and Lisa. She grew up in Salem, Missouri and graduated from Salem High School with the class of 2001. Sheena later furthered her education, obtaining her CNA and EMT Licenses. Sheena was blessed with six children: Haylee, Hannah, Heather, Bella, Ryder, and River. She loved her children with all her heart and was very proud of them. Some of her fondest moments were making memories with them. Sheena most enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends, she was one of a kind, and lived life to the fullest. Sheena was a hard-worker and very knowledgeable about what she was doing; she could do anything she set her mind to. Sheena tried her hand at many things and took great pride in everything she did. She was currently working as a laborer at the Hartmann's packaging company. Sheena was a kind and loving person, with a heart of gold and a desire to help others. Sheena always had a heart to travel and see the world. She liked listening to music and loved to sing. Sheena was a believer in Christ and previously attended New Harmony Church. Sheena departed this life November 29, 2021 in Rolla, Missouri at the age of thirty-eight years. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, mother: Lisa Hunt and husband Jim of Mt. View, MO; father: Terry Chandler and wife Glenda of Salem, MO; children: Haylee Chandler-Kreamalmyer of Steeville, MO, Hannah, Heather, and Hayden "Bella" Easter all of Salem, MO, and Ryder and River Hodge both of Rolla, MO; sisters: Tatumn Bailey and husband Bret of Salem, MO and Chelsey Brakefield and husband Jimmy of Salem, MO; step-siblings: Jimmy Hunt and Ashley Hunt; grandmother: Betty Johnson of Oates, MO; boyfriend: Dusty Studdard of Rolla, MO; cousin and best friend: Justin Chandler; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding her in death, grandparents: Roscoe and Burtafay Johnson and Howard and Fay Chandler; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Sheena was beautiful inside and out, always friendly, and fun to be around. She was always optimistic and smiling no matter what she was going through. She always tried to see the best in everyone and it brought her great joy to see her family and friends happy. Sheena was a loving and caring mother, daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. She will be forever remembered by all who loved her. Funeral Services for Sheena Danielle (Chandler) Hodge were held Monday, December 6, 2021 at New Harmony Church with Pastor Shane Callicut officiating. Ronnie Chandler read the obituary and special music was provided by Tatumn Bailey singing "Amazing Grace". Additional song selections played were "Knockin on Heaven's Door", "When We All Get to Heaven", "I Speak Jesus", and "The People That God Gives You". Serving as Pallbearers were Chandler Brakefield, Jimmy Brakefield, Bret Bailey, Justin Chandler, Damon Frisk, and John Wagler. Burial was in the Myers Cemetery, Oates, Missouri.
