Stanley Dean McFadden

Stanley Dean McFadden was born February 24, 1953, on Greenwood Valley in Leeper, Missouri and passed away July 13, 2024, in Salem, Missouri, at the age of seventy-one years, four months, and nineteen days. Stanley found happiness in being with friends and family. He never met a stranger. In early years, he was given the nickname “Hippie”. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved buying and selling vehicles. He loved auctions and the thrill of bidding. Stanley had a true giving spirit and loved to find clothes and items to give to others. In 2018, he was joined in marriage to Deborah and thanked her daily for helping him to learn to enjoy each day, despite the trials that life may bring. Stanley found new friends when he moved to Van Buren in 2018 and treasured time spent visiting Smalleys each morning. Those friends were always there when he needed them, and he would want them to know that those days were some of the best in his life. Stanley treasured spending time with his family. He loved them with all his heart. He would want all the friends he made during camping trips to know that they all meant so much to him. Everyone knew he loved to talk to them on his cell phone and never failed to answer or return his calls. In this obituary, Stanley would want it said that he gave everything he could, and that Heaven will watch over all of you. He would want everyone to know that he was so thankful to have true family and friends in his life. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents: Floyd “Red” and Mary Jane McFadden; brothers: Richard and Will; grandparents: Lester and Frances McFadden and Atward and Ora Brown. Stanley is survived by family members including his wife: Deborah McFadden of Salem, MO; sons: Gary, Larry, and Travis McFadden; stepdaughters: Karissa Stienbarger and Tamara Gill; brother: Leroy McFadden; sisters: Pauline Kimes, Charlene Waller, Mandy McFadden Combs, Jenny McFadden, and Brenda McFadden; grandchildren: Libbie and Canyon McFadden; Faith and Alexis; and two great-grandchildren in Florida; as well as a host of other loving family and dear friends. Stanley will be missed but never forgotten. The family will honor Stanley’s wishes to be cremated and no service will be held per his wishes.
