Teresa D. (Radford) Brooks

Teresa D. (Radford) Brooks was born February 13, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri to Edgar and MaryAnn (Smith) Radford. She attended school through fourth grade at Boss, then went to Valley R-6 in Caledonia, Missouri where she graduated with the Class of 1974. Teresa attained her Associates Degree from Mineral Area College at Park Hills in 1988. Teresa was united in marriage on April 15, 1994 to the love of her life, Claude Brooks. They lived in Sierra Vista, Arizona for eight years where she enjoyed the best years of her life. She was a devoted wife, dedicated mother, and proud grandmother who loved her family fiercely. Teresa served as bookkeeper for Boss Assembly of God for several years, and previously for Caledonia Assembly of God. She was involved with numerous activities throughout the years, including teaching Sunday School, Children's Church, and Missionettes. Teresa was a lady of strong faith and was a longtime member of Boss Assembly of God. Teresa was very artistic and enjoyed using her talent for sewing, hand quilting, making plastic canvas crafts, and decorating beautiful cakes. She liked swimming, loved to laugh and joke, and never met a stranger. Teresa departed this life November 6, 2022 in Salem, Missouri at the age of sixty-six years. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving daughters: Crystal Birdsong and husband Paul of Vienna, MO, Laura Isgrigg and husband Jamie of Ashland, KY; mother: MaryAnn Radford of Salem, MO; sisters: Marsha Radford of Salem, MO, and Cheryl Matthews of Bloomsdale, MO; brother: Scott Radford and fiancé Lesa Kinney of Salem, MO; grandchildren: Camden Chester, Catherine Chester, and Kimber Isgrigg; niece: Kaitlyn Radford; and many dear friends. Preceding her in death, husband: Claude L. Brooks; father: Edgar Radford; brother: Edgar Radford Jr.; and brother-in-law: Norman Matthews. Teresa leaves behind a great legacy to continue in the lives of those who loved her most. She will be forever missed. Teresa (Radford) Brooks were held Thursday, November 10, 2022 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Song selections played were “Jerusalem”, “Uncloudy Day”, “Take My Hand, Precious Lord”, and “I Call Him”. Serving as Pallbearers were Paul Birdsong, Jamie Isgrigg, Camden Chester, Scott Radford, Robert Kinney, and Randy Emory. Honorary Pallbearers were Catherine Chester, Kaitlyn Radford, and Jeff Emory. Burial was in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Goodland, Missouri. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri. Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Teresa Brooks to the ABC Memorial Foundation for Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Association and left at Wilson Mortuary. Memorial Envelopes will be available.
