Trudy Ann (Adams) Hale

Trudy Ann (Adams) Hale was born December 9, 1943, in Salem, Missouri. She was the only child born to Herbert and Beulah (Ragsdale) Adams. Trudy grew up in Salem, Missouri and graduated with the class of 1961 from Salem High School. She furthered her education with Southwest Baptist College in Bolivar for two years. Trudy was united in marriage to the love of her life, Bertram Carl Hale, on March 29, 1963, on their way home from college in Lebanon, Missouri. They shared sixty-one years of marriage and created many lasting memories together. Trudy and Carl were blessed with one daughter, and later blessed with one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter. Trudy inherited Adams Beauty Shoppe from her parents and was a successful and talented beautician. Throughout the years she accumulated many clients who became lifelong friends. Trudy and Carl later turned the beauty shoppe into Carl Hale Real Estate and worked as a real estate broker until retirement. In her spare time, Trudy liked playing Bridge and other card games with her family and friends. She loved to travel and go on trips with her family; she toured London, and enjoyed several cruises with her husband, her all-time favorite cruises were visiting the Caribbean Islands. Trudy was blessed with a great life filled with many fun memories, but her greatest love and joy was spending time with her daughter, granddaughter, and great-granddaughter. Trudy was a longtime member of Salem First Baptist Church where she taught an Adult Sunday School Class for many years. She was a true prayer warrior and great example of a Christian. Trudy entered eternal rest May 12, 2024, in Salem, Missouri, at the age of eighty years. Those left behind to treasure her memory include her loving husband: Carl Hale of Salem, MO; daughter: Dana Jones and husband Tim of Olathe, KS; granddaughter: Shannon Jones; great-granddaughter: Cailin Ray; extended family and dear friends. Preceding her in death were her parents: Herbert and Beulah Adams. Trudy was always pleasant to be around. Her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, and kindness often brightened the day. She will be fondly remembered for her welcoming heart and encouraging spirit. Trudy made a lasting impact on the lives of many and will be deeply missed. Funeral Services for Trudy Ann (Adams) Hale were held Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the Salem First Baptist Church with Joe Brand officiating. Special Music was provided by David Hancock and Ann Emory. Serving as Pallbearers were Ray Ragsdale, Randy Ragsdale, Tim Jones, Arnold Lamb, Dave Tiefenthaler, Dave Nichols, and Ralph Ragsdale. Burial was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri. Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Trudy Hale to the Salem Baptist Church Kidz Choir and left with Wilson Mortuary. Memorial Envelopes will be available.
