Aletha Marlene Mooney was born September 25, 1959 in Idaho to Samuel and Opal (Derie) Yoshida and passed away July 10, 2018 in Keokuk, Iowa at the age of fifty-eight years. Aletha enjoyed painting, crossword puzzles, and drawing. She was of the Lutheran faith. Preceding her in death were her parents; step mother, Betty Yoshida; son, Joshua Weadock; and sister, Connie Lotter. Survivors include her husband, John C. Mooney, Salem; children, Jeremiah Whitehawk, Las Vegas, Nevada; Shante` White, Salem; Jared Perkins, Idaho State; brothers, Samuel Yoshida, Burley, Idaho; Ron Yoshida, Burley, Idaho; sisters, Della Brown, Burley, Idaho; Jeneal Yoshida, Ogden, Utah; Bonnie Sill, Roy, Utah; step sisters, Mara Rogers, West Valley City, Utah; Lina Sibbett, Rupert, Idaho; Charlene Walker, Burley, Idaho; eleven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Aletha will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial service for Aletha Marlene Mooney was held Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Bro. Charlie Younger officiating. A special CD selection was played. Interment will be at a later date.
