Bonnie Juanita (Biggs) Kerr was born on October 1, 1928, in Howes Mill, Missouri to Herbert Lane and Effie Ethel (Talley) Biggs and passed away on October 7, 2020, in Salem, Missouri at the age of ninety-two years. Bonnie grew up in Howes Mill and graduated from Caledonia High School. She went to further her education and obtained her teaching degree. Bonnie was a teacher for several years and worked as a receptionist at Dr. Paskon’s office for many years. On October 14, 1982, Bonnie was united in marriage to Noal Kerr and together they shared nearly thirty-eight years of marriage. Bonnie was blessed with seven children: Stanley, Larry, Cecil, Noal, Gary, Jack, Tony, and blessed to share a daughter, Lois Ann. Bonnie was happiest when she was working with her hands. She liked to craft, sew and make quilts. Bonnie was an accomplished artist and painted many scenery paintings. She frequently visited Round Spring and Montauk for her work. Bonnie was an amazing cook and baked many family meals. Most important to her were her family, she cherished the memories made with them and treasured her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Bonnie was a woman of faith and longtime member of Freewill Baptist Church Salem. She enjoyed singing and led music for the congregation. Bonnie enjoyed attending when she could and the fellowship there. Bonnie is survived by her loving husband: Noal Kerr of Salem, MO; children: Gary Kerr and wife Crystal of Salem, MO, Jack Kerr and wife Shelly of Salem, MO, Tony Kerr of Branson, MO, Stan Medlock and wife Sherry of Bunker, MO, and Lois Tyler of Salem, MO; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were, her sons: Larry and Cecil; parents: Herbert and Effie Biggs; infant sister: Norma Lee Biggs; and brother: Jim Biggs. Bonnie will be remembered for her beautiful voice, sweet smile, and gentle spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of honor and love for her family. Bonnie will be forever remembered and deeply missed. Funeral Services for Bonnie Juanita (Biggs) Kerr were held Saturday, October 10, 2020 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Charlie Bacon Jr. officiating. Song selections played were “Beulah Land”, “Drinking From My Saucer”, and “Precious Memories”. Serving as Pallbearers were Garrick Kerr, Andrew Medlock, Mike Kerr, Danny Kerr, Phoenix Canaday, and Michael Canaday. Honorary Pallbearers were Jackson Morris and Jonathon Kerr. Burial was in the Jadwin Cemetery. The Family was served by Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
