Camilla Irene (Talley) Shaw Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Camilla Irene (Talley) Shaw was born November 17, 1934, in Blytheville, Arkansas, to Frank and Pansey (King) Talley. Camilla started working at a young age with her mother in the family restaurant. She was the oldest of four children and helped raise her brothers. Camilla was united in marriage to the love of her life, Clyde “Pete” Noel Shaw February 20, 1954, in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union blessed with four children: Bonnie, Bob, Wanda, and David. Camilla and Pete shared forty-seven years of memories and took great pride in raising their family. Camilla was a proud military wife who supported her husband's career in the U.S. Army. She worked hard to help provide for her family and care for her home. Camilla was best known for her work ethic both inside and outside of the home where she worked in several factories. Camilla was gifted with talented hands and loved to sew. She enjoyed what nature provided and to grow a bountiful garden. Camilla often shared her bounty with others. A woman devout to her Catholic faith, Camilla was a selfless soul who served at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for many years. She had a heart of service and helping others. Camilla enjoyed helping with the Fried Chicken Meals and in the Soup Kitchen. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Camilla cherished her family deeply. When her children were young, she helped with school activities. She treasured her grandchildren and supporting them in all their accomplishments. Camilla was a doting great-grandmother and looked forward making memories with them. Camilla departed this life July 16, 2022 in Salem, Missouri at the age of eighty-seven years. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving children: Bonnie Volner of St. Louis, MO, Bob Shaw of Salem, MO, Wanda Shaw of Festus, MO, and David Shaw and wife Katherine of Silex, MO; grandchildren: Barbara Jean Tucker, Freddie Tucker, Stephine Shaw, Amy Jansky and husband Jonathon, Nikki Pappas and husband Derrick, Krystal Dehner and husband William, Cody Shaw and wife Hannah, and Logan Shaw; great-grandchildren: Seth, Aaron, Harley, Brendan, Kylie, Wyatt, Sofia, and Camilla; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding her in death, husband: Clyde “Pete” Shaw; parents: Frank and Pansey Talley, and brothers: Otto, Glenn, and Norman Talley. Camilla was naturally a very friendly and happy person. She leaves behind a great legacy of love and devotion. Camilla will be forever missed. Funeral Services for Camilla Irene (Talley) Shaw were held Thursday, July 21, 2022 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Father Antoney Jose Thundathil officiating. Song selections played were “Dancing In The Sky”, “On Eagles Wings”, and “Be Not Afraid”. Serving as Pallbearers were Cody Shaw, Logan, Shaw, Will Dehner, Mike Younger, Derrick Mansker, and Brendan Mansker. Honorary Pallbearers were Bob Shaw and David Shaw. Burial was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Camilla Shaw to the Alzheimer’s Association and left at Wilson Mortuary.
