Dennis Ray Dyer was born November 4, 1985 in Rolla, Missouri to Delbert Vernon and Aleta Jean (Hassos) Dyer and passed away February 17, 2019, in Boss, Missouri at the age of thirty-three years. Dennis grew up at Boss, Missouri and attended Viburnum School. He worked as a manager for G & W Foods for several years, and was also employed by Casey's, Doe Run, and DCI helping care for his mother, Aleta. Dennis loved horses and participating in horse shows when he was younger and was Jr. Rodeo Cowboy. He had goats, rabbits, chickens and loved all animals. Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, hanging out with his friends, and loved Coke soda. He loved his daddy and took care of him in his battle with cancer. Dennis dearly loved his two dogs, Coke-O and Dolly. He was loved by the community. Preceding him in death were his father, Delbert Dyer, Sr.; brother, Phillip Tinker; and infant sister, Mary Ann Tinker. Survivors include his mother, Aleta Dyer of Boss, MO; brothers and sister, James Tinker and wife, Connie of Steelville, MO, Carren Dotson and husband, Boone of Bixby, MO, Delbert "Punkin" Dyer, Jr. and wife, Nancy of Boss, MO, Moses Sterling and wife, Erica of Bonne Terre, MO; nieces and nephews, Joe Chambers, David Chambers, Jake Chambers, Brittany Chambers, Timmy Tinker, Katrina Tinker, Phylicia Tinker, Daniel Tinker, Amanda Tinker, Brandon Clark, Brooklyn Dyer, Molly Dyer, Dylan Dyer, Carmen Hopkins; three great nieces and nephew, Daemon Burns, Autumn Clark, Allison Burnett and one on the way; special dogs, Coke-O and Dolly; extended family and friends. Dennis will be sadly and deeply missed, but fondly remembered by all those who knew and loved him. Funeral Service for Dennis Ray Dyer was held February 24, 2019 at the Boss Assembly of God Church with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Special Music played was: "Will the Circle be Unbroken", "Wish You Were Here", "Go Rest High" and "Amazing Grace". Serving as Pallbearers were Delbert Dyer Jr., Mark Westen, Joe Chambers, Jake Chambers, Leroy Bays and Boon Dotson. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers were Bob McKie, Branson Dunlap, Brandon Clark and David Chambers. Burial was in the Maple Grove Cemetery. All arrangements were under the care and direction of Wilson Mortuary of Viburnum, Missouri.
