Donna Lynn Richmond

August 2, 1955 - October 24, 2018

Donna Lynn Richmond was born August 2, 1955 in Salem, Missouri to Carol Eugene and Alma Retta (Dennie) Farrar and passed away October 24, 2018 in her home in Salem, Missouri at the age of sixty-three years. Donna grew up in Salem, Missouri and attended Salem High School. Through the years, Donna worked at Vocational Rehab as a counselor, Salem Treatment Center as a drug and alcohol counselor, R-4 School District as a counselor, and Crisis Center as Director. Donna was a very intelligent woman. She had a Master's Degree in Psychology from Northeastern State University which she obtained on May 13, 1983 as well as an LPN license which she obtained on July 30, 1998. Donna enjoyed reading and studying the bible. Donna was a member of First Baptist Church. She had a big heart and was an animal lover. She adopted many stray cats throughout her life. Donna was fearless and enjoyed heights, roller coasters, and swimming far out into the ocean near the dolphins. She treated everyone that she met like family. Donna loved tremendously and was the most selfless person her family had ever met. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Donna was also a skilled pedicurist and gave her daughters the best pedicures when they came home to visit. Survivors include her special friend, Steve Richmond of Salem, MO; daughters, Melanie Caskanett and husband, Mark of Rogers, AR, Monica Madray and husband, Steve of Georgetown, TX, Maggie Richmond of Columbia, MO, Sarah Arnett and husband, Levi of Salem, MO, and Elizabeth Dunmire and husband, Joshua of Salem, MO; mother, Alma Farrar of Salem, MO; grandchildren, Corey Steinbarger of Rolla, MO, Mercedes Clarke and husband, David of Chicago, IL, Samuel Caskanett of Rogers, AR, Lucas Caskanett of Rogers, AR, Elijah Caskanett of Rogers, AR, Atticus Givens of Salem, MO, Copeland Madray of Georgetown, TX, Van Madray of Georgetown, TX, Asah Hubbs of Salem, MO, Harper Richmond of Columbia, MO, and Alma Dunmire of Salem, MO; sisters, Carole Farrar Wilson of Salem, MO, and Gina Farrar Selinger of Kansas City, MO; brothers, Kevin Farrar and wife, Mindy of Lebanon, MO, and Eddie Farrar and wife, Judy of Kansas City, MO; extended family and friends. Preceding her in death were her father, Carol Eugene Farrar, and Donna's best fur-friend, Scratchy Fuller. Donna will be sadly and deeply missed, but fondly remembered by all those who knew and loved her.
