Garol Lawrence Terrill

Garol Lawrence Terrill was born on January 27, 1952, in Rolla, Missouri to Lawrence and Lovie (Light) Terrill and passed away on December 19, 2020 in Salem, Missouri at the age of sixty-eight years. Garol grew up and attended school in Salem. He was united in marriage to his sweetheart, Teresa Stewart, on June 1, 1977 in Turtle, Missouri and together they shared forty-three years of memories. Garol and Teresa were blessed with one son, Raymond. Garol was a devoted husband to Teresa and proud father of Raymond. Garol worked hard to provide for his family, he enjoyed working in the Timber Industry which became his lifetime career. Garol loved working with his hands, whittling and making arrowheads. In his younger years, he like to deer hunt and fish. His family was most important to him and he deeply cherished the memories made, especially with his grandchildren. Garol is survived by, his loving wife: Teresa Terrill of the home; siblings: Beverly Whitaker and husband James of Salem, MO, Carol Strotkamp and special friend Stanley Watson, Karen Ellerman and husband Bob of Salem, MO, Ronnie Terrill and wife Carol of Salem, MO; sister-in-law: Tammie Lee Stewart and special friend Charlie Arnold of De Beque, CO; daughter-in-law: Jessica Terrill of Salem, MO; grandchildren: Gus, Woodrow, Kaydance, Shyan, Emma, and Anika; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death, parents: Lawrence and Lovie Terrill; and son: Raymond Terrill. Garol was a man of faith and leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion for his family and dear friends. Garol’s great smile and spirit will be forever cherished by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Services for Garol Lawrence Terrill were held Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating. Song selections played were “If You Came Back from Heaven” and “I Want To Stroll Over Heaven With You”. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
