Grace Ann McBride was born on August 28, 1983 in Salem, Missouri to Jack and Nancy. She grew up in Salem and graduated with the Class of 2002 from Salem High School. Grace was saved and baptized at a young age and was of the Baptist faith. Grace was blessed with three daughters, Teaghan, Makayla, and Alexa and one son, Eathan. She was a hard worker and worked as a cook with Salem Care Center and as a cashier while living in Kansas City. Grace was a passionate animal lover, loved music, and enjoyed playing the base guitar. Grace passed away on November 18, 2020 in California at the age of thirty-seven years. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving children: Teaghan McBride, Makayla McBride, Eathan Taylor, and Alexa Strotkamp; mother: Nancy Igou of Salem, MO; father: Jack Edwards of Salem, MO; brother: Jacob Grabeel of Cape Girardeau, MO; aunts and uncle: Denise Biggers of Oklahoma and Dennis and Bonnie Reed of Springfield, IL; well as a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends. Preceding her in death, grandparents: Ruth and Cleo Chitwood and Betty Dees and Arthur Edwards; great-grandparents: Leo and Mildred Dees and Alice and Dave Belk; uncle: Robert Reed; aunts: Pat Carter and Donna Alaghani. Grace will be remembered for her sweet personality and beautiful smile. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her. Celebration of Life for Grace Ann McBride was held Tuesday, December 22, 2020 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Lyndell Decker officiating. Song selections played were “In The Garden” and “Clinging To A Saving Hand”. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
