Juanita Louella Jarvis

January 14, 1943 - May 31, 2018

Juanita Louella Jarvis was born January 14, 1943 in Edge Hill, Missouri to Gottlieb and Opal (Halbert) Rothlisberger and passed away May 31, 2018 in Independence, Missouri at the age of seventy-five years. Juanita was united in marriage to Matt Jarvis Jr. on March 7, 1959. Juanita loved to cook, garden, and crochet. She was a loving mother to her children and the most amazing Granny to her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She was so proud of every member of her family. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; brothers, Bill Halbert, Lavern Rothlisberger, and Lindell Rothlisberger; sister, Sharon Tiefenauer; in-laws, Goldie and Matt Jarvis Sr.; brothers-in-law, Joseph Tiefenauer, and Bob Ogle; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Gibson, and Ruth Halbert. Survivors include her four daughters, Debra Hatton and husband, Rod, Lone Jack; Teresa Logan and husband, Ed, Oak Grove; Sheila Brayboy and husband, Glenn, Lee's Summit; Kim Mann and husband, Ervil, Carrollton; grandchildren, Neil Hatton and wife, Angela, Blue Springs; Nicole Ainsworth and husband, Chad, Gilbert, Arizona; Jake Logan, Republic; Leslie Drake and husband, Joe, Blue Springs; Jonathan Logan and Chris Soer, Warrensburg; Jordan Moses and wife, Christina, Blue Springs; Andy Crain and wife, Shawna, Carrollton; Adam Crain, Carbondale, Illinois; Sybil Caswell and husband, David, Raymore; Lauren Hendrickson and husband, Carter, Harlan, Kentucky; great-grandchildren, Abby, Zoey, and Xander Hatton; Vaughn, Caleb, and Levi Ainsworth; Ethan, Ava, Liam, and Finn Drake; Trey, Connor, and Preston Moses; Layla and Matthew Crain; Eli Buchan, Janelle, and Tyler Caswell; Ila Jane Hendrickson; brother in law, Ed Gibson, Farmington; sisters in law, Rose Gibson and husband, Bill, Farmington; Betty Smith and husband, Darrell, Viburnum; Emma Lashley and husband, Frank, Belleview; Bonnie Rothlisberger, Caledonia; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. Juanita will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral service for Juanita Louella Jarvis was held Monday June 4, 2018 at Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Rod Hatton and Ervil Mann officiating, special music was provided by Jonathan Logan, Nicole Ainsworth and Christopher Soer. Serving as pallbearers were, Neil Hatton, Jake Logan, Jonathan Logan, Jordan Moses, Andy Crain and Adam Crain, honorary pallbearer was Denny Shelton. Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
