Madonna Lou (Crouch) Mosley

Madonna Lou (Crouch) Mosley was born on June 9, 1934, in St. Francois County, Missouri to Asbury and Ressie (Neal) Crouch and passed away on April 30, 2020, in Salem, Missouri at the age of eighty-five years. Madonna grew up in the Round Pond area and graduated from Round Pond School. She proudly worked as a bookkeeper for the majority of her working career. On February 12, 1955, Madonna was united in marriage to the love of her life, Paul Mosley and together shared many wonderful years of memories before his passing. Madonna was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Salem; she enjoyed attending Sunday School and Worship Services. Madonna was strong in her faith and a mentor to many. She had a sweet and caring spirit and will be remembered for the conversations and wisdom she shared. Madonna also served the Lord as a Pastor’s wife beside her husband for many years. Madonna lived a simple life that was devoted to her family and friends, spending as much time with them as possible; especially her nieces and nephews. She was a mother-like figure to them and will forever live on in their hearts. Madonna is survived by three brothers: Linus E. Crouch of Salem, MO, Marvin N. Crouch of Waskom, TX, and Eugene D. Crouch of Salem, MO; special nieces and nephew: Kelly Ann Lundy and husband Steve of Salem, MO, Angela Christesen-Parker and husband Kelly of Salem, MO, Ashley Peyton and husband Travis of Salem, MO, Stephanie Bramblett of Rolla, MO, and Eugene Crouch Jr. and wife Tammy of Farmington, MO; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Preceding her in death were her husband: Rev. Paul Mosley; parents: Asbury and Ressie Crouch; and baby brother: James Paul Crouch. Madonna was a precious lady with a beautiful soul inside and out, to know her was a blessing, she will be greatly missed. Graveside Services for Madonna Lou (Crouch) Mosley were held Saturday, May 2, 2020 in the Sligo Cemetery with Pastor Michael York officiating. Song selections played were “It Is Well With My Soul” and “Great Is Thy Faithfulness”. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
