Margaret Lorena (Ogle) Luna

Margaret Lorena (Ogle) Luna was born October 3, 1938 in Modesto, California to Truman and Mabel (Jones) Ogle and departed this life November 25, 2021 in Lebanon, Missouri at the age of eighty-three years. Margaret was united in marriage to Donald Luna on July 6, 1954 in Mountain Home, Arkansas and together shared sixty-seven years of laughter and memories. Margaret and Don were blessed with four children: Travis, Rachel, Kathy, and Patricia. Margaret was a loving and supportive wife and mother who worked hard to help provide for her family. During her working years, she was employed with several factories to include Play-Craft Boats and Lowe Boats. Margaret and Don owned and operated Country Roads Antique Store for many years. In her spare time, Margaret enjoyed finding a good bargain at auctions, flea markets, and antique stores. She was gifted talented hands and loved to sew. Margaret took great satisfaction in cooking for her family and enjoyed canning. She liked spending time outdoors and could be found out and about ginseng hunting. Margaret was a lady of great faith and longtime member of New Friendship Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible and singing in church along with her brother Larry. Most important to Margaret was her family. She valued the time spent with them and treasured the memories made together, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Margaret leaves behind to cherish her memory, loving husband Don Luna of Laquey, MO; daughters: Rachel Schmidt and husband Glenn of Laquey, MO, Kathy Henry and husband Eddie of Richland, MO, Patricia Johnson of Laquey, MO, and Cecilia Luna of Richland, MO; siblings: Albert Ogle of Texas, Betty Waters and husband Doug of Arizona, and Ed Ogle and wife Sharon of Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding her in death, son: Travis Luna; parents: Truman and Mabel Ogle; infant sister; brothers: Roy, Russell, Scotty, and Larry; grandson: Gavin Ross Bivins; and great-grandson: Terry Brown Jr. Margaret was a soft-spoken, loving, tenderhearted lady who touched the lives of many and will be forever missed. Graveside Services for Margaret Lorena (Ogle) Luna were held Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Hazelgreen Cemetery with Pastor Gary Humphrey officiating. Serving as Pallbearers were Jason Larson, Makon Schmidt, Bryan West, James Newell, Wyatt Newell, Terry Brown, and Andrew Decker. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Margaret Luna to Wilson Mortuary.
