Nevaeh Angel Hayes

Nevaeh Angel Hayes was born September 17, 2008, in Watertown, South Dakota, to Kasey Wayne and Cierra Marie (Farpella) Hayes. She was raised in Salem, Missouri, by her dad and bonus mom, Crystal. Nevaeh was currently a Freshman at Salem High School and always strived to do her best. Her favorite class was AG, and she had an interest in joining FFA. Nevaeh previously attended Green Forest R-II School and played basketball. Her dream was to become a psychologist when she grew up. Nevaeh was a true animal lover. She could be found drawing, watching anime, playing video games, and listening to music. Two of her favorite songs were “Love Story” and “Teenage Dirtbag”. Nevaeh had an adventurous spirit and always sought out new experiences. Nothing brought her greater happiness than hanging out with her family and friends. Nevaeh departed this life January 22, 2024, in Salem, Missouri, at the age of fifteen years. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her loving parents: Kasey and Crystal Hayes of Salem, MO; grandparents: Leona Marie Walker of Rolla, MO, Charles and Ruth Walker of Salem, MO, Virgina and Marty Haight of South Dakota, and Brenda Nelson of South Dakota; great-grandmother: Leona Mae Walker; siblings: Dominic Walker, Tristan Reynolds, and Kordel Hayes; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, close friends, and framily. Preceding her in death were her mother: Cierra Farpella; grandfather: Kenneth Hayes; and her great-grandparents: Charles Walker and Albina Haight. Nevaeh will be remembered for her joyful presence, bright smile, and bubbly personality. She made a lasting impact on the lives of many and will be forever missed. Funeral Services for Nevaeh Angel Hayes were held Monday, January 29, 2024, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Ben Pursifull officiating. A special letter was read by Serenity Drury. Special Music played was “If I Die Young” and “Angel”. Serving as Pallbearers were Joe Chase, Canyon Goodbar, Samuel Jordan, Cordell Hornbeck, Andrew Stoops, Dominic Walker, and Chance Kersey. Honorary Pallbearers were Eric Surles, Kordel Hayes, Charles Walker and Tristan Reynolds. Burial was in a Private Family Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri. Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Nevaeh Hayes and left with Wilson Mortuary.
