Pamela Marguerite (Dixon) Crismon was born on October 15, 1955 in St. Charles, Missouri to Wilburn Perry and Opal Imogene (Barton) Dixon. Pamela was one of seven children and lived in many locations growing up due to her parent’s occupation in the oil fields. After high school, Pamela furthered her education obtaining her Emergency Medical Technician license. Pamela started her working career in Jayton, Texas where she put her EMT license to work. She served the community for many years before moving to Salem, Missouri. While in Salem, Pamela owned and operated the Garden of Eden Nursery. Her green thumb and attention to detail helped her business thrive. Pamela ended her working career in the Home Health Care field, she truly valued her time spent helping the elderly in the community. Pamela was united in marriage to her sweetheart, Lynn Crismon on June 4, 2011 in Branson, Missouri and together shared ten years of memories. Pamela and Lynn together shared five children: Marvin, Mechelle, Les, Destinee, and Logan. Pamela enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, especially at Pulltite on the Current River. She loved gardening, canning, cooking, and sharing her bounty with those she loved. Time with family was most important to her, Pamela cherished family gatherings and treasured special granny time and creating diamonds with her grandchildren. Pamela passed away on August 3, 2021 in Branson, Missouri at the age of sixty-five years. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving husband Lynn Crismon of the home; children: Marvin Winick of Rolla, MO, Mechelle Statler of Branson, MO, Les Cook and wife Jeannie of Salem, MO, Destinee Bippert and husband Josh of Branson, MO, and Logan Crismon of Branson, MO; siblings: Phyllis Melton of Rolla, MO, Will Dixon of Branson, MO, and Pricilla Halbrook and husband Donnie of Branson, MO; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Preceding her in death, her parents: Wilburn and Opal Dixon; sisters: Pat Hanson and husband George, Peggy Rutherford and husband Dean, and Polly Mitchell; grandson: Kory Bounds; and nephew: Justin Dixon. Pamela will be remembered as a devoted wife, dedicated mother, caring sister, and doting grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services for Pamela Marguerite (Dixon) Crismon were held Thursday, August 5, 2021 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Lyndell Decker officiating. Song selections played were “How Do I Help You Say, Goodbye”, “In The Arms Of An Angel”, and “Go Rest High On That Mountain” and many special memories were shared. Serving as pallbearers were Logan Crismon, Jason Dixon, Steve Sapaugh, Josh Bippert, Donnie Halbrook, Will Dixon, Phillip Moser, and Marvin Wofford. Honorary Pallbearers were Josh Bounds and Riley Statler. Burial was in the Boss Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
