Patricia "Pat" Ruth (Reed) Eaton-Kane

Patricia "Pat" Ruth (Reed) Eaton-Kane was born on November 27, 1938 in Sewanee, Tennessee to George and Elsie Norine (Tate) Reed. Pat was raised in Tennessee and moved to Florida in her teen years. Pat met the love of her life, Joseph Eaton, while he was serving in the Navy. They were united in marriage and celebrated forty-six years together before his passing. Pat and Joseph were blessed with six children: Belinda, Joe, Sheri, Teri, John, and Stacy. Pat later married Robert Kane and together shared seven years of marriage before his passing. Pat was a dedicated homemaker and took great pride in raising her family. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen cooking, making bread, and canning. Pat was gifted talented hands and made clothing for her children. She loved to sew and crochet many items to include blankets and scarves. Pat taught her children the value of hard work and how to take care of their homes and families. Pat cherished the time spent with her family and treasured her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She liked tending to her flower beds and garden. Pat was a lady of faith and attended Hickory Grove Assembly of God Church until she was no longer able. Pat departed this life on November 2, 2021 in Fenton, Missouri at the age of eighty-two years. She leaves behind her loving children: Joe Eaton and wife Sherrie of Arkansas, Sheri Dunn and husband Andy of Viburnum, MO, Teri Blake of Bixby, MO, John Eaton and wife Lora of Steelville, MO, Stacy Dotson and husband Bobby of Bixby, MO, and Lori Parker of Bourbon, MO; sisters: Judy and Rita; many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding her in death, husbands: Joseph Eaton and Robert Kane; daughter: Belinda Stulce; sister: Shirley; and brothers: Duncan and Stevie. Pat was a well kept, classy lady with a heart of gold. Her level of kindness and beauty both inside and out will never be matched nor forgotten. Funeral Services for Patricia “Pat” Ruth (Reed) Eaton-Kane were held Friday, November 5, 2021 in the Wilson Mortuary Viburnum Chapel with Pastor Paul Davis and Pastor Dale Stringer officiating. Special music was provided by Linda Haworth and additional song selections played was “Jealous of the Angels” and “I’ll Always Be Your Mom”.
