Patricia "Pat" Louise (Davis) Roberts-Cummings

Patricia “Pat” Louise (Davis) Roberts-Cummings was born November 22, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland to Rufus Joseph and Eva Lee (Litton) Davis. She grew up in Maryland and graduated from high school. After high school, Pat furthered her education obtaining her CNA certification. In search for more and better opportunities in life, she continued to further her education and obtained her RN license. Pat was a fantastic nurse and a joy to work with. Throughout her nursing career, she worked for Salem Care Center, Salem Memorial District Hospital, Long Term Care, and as the director of nurses with Seville Care Center. Pat was the most compassionate and loving person giving great care to her patients and sincere friendship to our other nurses. Pat was blessed with one son, Chris, and later gained a granddaughter, Hailey, who she loved getting the opportunity to raise. She was united in marriage to Danny Orland Cummings, December 20, 2002 in Salem, Missouri and to this union gained four sons: Josh, Jeremy, Joseph, and Jacob. Pat and Danny were blessed with sixteen years of memories before his passing. Her family was most important to her and they meant the world to her. Pat loved making memories with her fiancé Ken, cherished spending time with her boys, treasured her grandchildren, and adored her fur babies. Her number one passion was camping and kayaking with family and friends. Pat enjoyed photography and didn’t miss an opportunity to capture a memory. Pat was a woman of strong faith, member of Sligo United Methodist Church, and a talented pianist. She was an active member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and enjoyed riding. Pat was also a part of the Garden Club in Salem. Pat departed this life October 2, 2022 in Salem, Missouri at the age of seventy-one years. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, loving son: Chris Roberts and fiancé Amanda Weber of Jadwin, MO; granddaughter-raised-as-daughter: Hailey Roberts; stepsons: Josh Cummings and wife Brianna of Salem, MO, Jeremy Cummings of Rolla, MO, and Joseph Cummings of Salem, MO; fiancé: Ken Brasier II of Salem, MO; brothers: Shawn Davis and wife Sheryl of Pearl, MS and Tracy Davis of Lawrence, KS; grandchildren: Paisley, Wyatt, Waylon, Aiden, Naomi, Aurora, Myia, Jaelynn, Jacob, Alyssa, and Rowen; special niece: Vanessa Merillat of Lawrence, KS; fur babies: Carly, Stella, Pugsly, and Luna; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding her in death, husband: Danny Cummings; parents: Rufus and Eva Davis; sister: Sheila Dempsey; and stepson: Jacob Cummings. Pat was genuine, beautiful, full of spunk, and had a heart of gold. She always had a kind word to share and a shining smile for everyone she met. Pat touched the lives of many and will be forever missed. Memorial Services for Patricia “Pat” Louise (Davis) Roberts-Cummings were held Wednesday, October 5, 2022 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Jeanette Boyce officiating. Song selections played were “I’ll Fly Away”, “Perfect”, and “Amazing Grace” Memories were shared by family and friends. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
