Patricia "Patsy" Dale (Hulings) Harrison

March 1, 1936 - June 7, 2020

Patricia “Patsy” Dale (Hulings) Harrison was born March 1, 1936 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to James and Betty (Arbuckle) Hulings and passed away June 7, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of eighty-four years. Patsy grew up and attended school in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. After High School Patsy served in the United States Army and served her country faithfully until her honorable discharge after two years of service. On March 16, 1956 Patsy married the love of her life, William “Bill” Harrison and together they shared sixty-four years of marriage and were blessed with three children: Billy, Brian, and Stephanie. Patsy was a devoted wife to Bill and loving mother to their children. She enjoyed being a housewife and treasured her time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Patsy liked to cook and cooked many family meals, she loved and looked forward to family gatherings. Not only did Patsy love and raise her own children, she loved and raised her granddaughter and great-granddaughter as her own. She was a kind and caring lady who always put others before herself. Not only was Patsy devoted to her family, she was devoted to the Lord. Patsy was a member of Walking Faith Ministries and enjoyed the fellowship there. She enjoyed spending time outdoors in her garden and flower beds Patsy is survived by her loving husband: Bill Harrison of Salem, MO; children: William "Billy" Harrison Jr. and wife Maria of Salem, MO, Brian Harrison and wife Janice of St. Peters, MO, and Stephanie Reese of Salem, MO; siblings: Jim Hulings and wife Barb of Pennsylvania, David Masslon of Pennsylvania, and Margaret Lewis of Pennsylvania; grandchildren: Amber Harrison and husband Matthew Schwartz of Salem, MO, Trisha Bragg of Salem, MO, Alexa Chaney and husband Jarret of Kirksville, MO, Shannon Bromley and husband Jason of Springfield, MO, Nicki Seddon and husband Daniel of St. Louis, MO, Heather Harrison of Fort. Lauderdale, FL, John Harrison of Salem, MO, Julie Wood and husband Mike of Salem, MO, and Sara Maylee of Arkansas; great-grandchildren: Madison, Mattix, Mason, Jackie, Harper, Macy, Emma, Elina, and Sunnie; extended family and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents: James and Betty Hulings. Patsy was a sweet and precious lady who will be remembered for the love she had for others. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Memorial Services for Patricia “Patsy” Dale (Hulings) Harrison were held Thursday, June 11, 2020 in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Lyndell Decker officiating. Song selections played were “Amazing Grace”, “It Is Well With My Soul”, and “I Can Only Imagine”. Burial was in the North Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
